Great nippers
These are my favourite cuticle nippers they are cheap but they last and always come sharp. I have ordered so many other cuticle nippers from Amazon and been disappointed, but I have ordered at least 6 or 8 pairs of these and I have always been satisfied. I work in a salon so I go through pairs very quickly with how often I use them on clients and the heavy duty cleaner we use eats at the metal over time, but with these I find they last me at least 4 months which at that price point, canโt complain at all.

Wicked Shahp. Really excellent.
I have lots of these, somewhere, and I end up buying more when I can't find them. Which is more often than it should be. So this time I was getting ready to buy a set of five cheaper ones, but then I started wondering why some of them cost eight or more times as much as the el cheap ones individually. Well, now I know. I thought - hey, let me see if a better version works any better, these said "extremely sharp", the reviews seemed to agree, so I tried them. Oh - I'm a guy, not using these for cuticles but rather for the little nail fragments that seem to start to grow between the nail and the skin on the side of the nail. Little horn-like things that gradually cause annoyance, hurt a little, and can snag on things and create further discomfort. Over time they cause more and more sensitivity until they are quite present and annoying. They're basically little slivers of nail that split off but keep growing. Personally, I don't know why people cut off their cuticles. That seems like an obvious seal that's meant to be there. I would never cut them. Ok, now to the benefit of this product: it is wicked sharp, as Affleck in Good Will Hunting would say. Wicked sharp. I never had any before that were anything much more than mashers. They'd mash the thing and that was how it was separated, but the problem with that is you don't get down to the base of it. With these? OMG, it's high precision. This is the way to go. This CUTS. It actually cuts, and really well. You can tell it's a cut by the feel of the action and by the way the process looks. If you wanted to you could probably cut only part way through. That would never be possible with the masher ones. I wouldn't know how to sharpen something this size so I think it has to be bought this way. The people who make it probably have sharpening equipment made for these specific angles in this tiny area. Hopefully the steel will hold the sharpness. But you know what? These are such an improvement over the other generic cheap stuff that I don't think I'll lose it. I know where they are because I value them as much as I do. And at this price, they're cheaper, in a sense, than the cheap ones. Because they're actually worth so much more.
