Nice!
Had no idea what to expect. It's really good quality, better than my Pampered Chef that finally broke. It comes with its own canvas drawstring bag.Grates cheese perfectly and with ease, but it does leave some parmesan cheese crumbled on the inside chamber off to the sides. Not sure if it's the design or what. It still works really well and hope it lasts a long, long time. Now it needs it's own container (that attaches) to grate into!I had to grate into a bowl and put it tediously into another container to store in the fridge. My kids love parmesan cheese so I have to keep it in stock.

DO NOT BUY, company is MIA
UPDATE (original review below)This came with a "lifetime warranty" stated in package insert. I contacted the company via Amazon requesting a replacement for the broken handle and heard back from Amazon that the message was undeliverable.Next I tried the company's direct email given with the package insert. It bounced.Lastly, the company website (whose URL I couldn't find with a Google search, but was listed on their Facebook page), is defunct.I sent a message via Facebook, but not holding out much hope for a response. This item should not be listed for sale. If you order it, don't be surprised if it doesn't show up.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I had this grater about 2 years and used it less than weekly, only to grate romano cheese. It always felt like it was going to be brittle - there was a fine line between holding it closed firmly enough for the cheese to have contact with the grater, and squeezing too hard which felt like it might snap. The other day it snapped where the handle is inserted into one of the 3 grating wheels. Even if there's a replacement handle I'm not sure the piece that's stuck in the center of the grater can be removed. It did a good job but didn't hold up to the job ... I was as careful as I could be (and still have it grate hard cheese). Back to Zyliss, I guess.

Rotary Cheese Grater
Well made, easy to clean, involved & friendly customer support. I purchased one as a gift, and one fr myself, to replace a Zyliss rotary grater that I've had for about 25 or 30 years. The plastic cage inside the metal grater cylinder finally broke on the well used Zyliss that I was very happy with. The design of this grater appears to be much more durable. I'm not knocking the Zyiss, it lasted a long time considering that I primarily use it for hard cheeses, and straight out of the fridge on top of that... I guess I was just ready for a change at replacement time. The reviews are what helped me decide on this product, so far they were spot on. Thank you Orecchi, nice product:)))5.23.2019Still very pleased with the Cheese grater, I tend to use it when larger quantities are needed. I missed my smaller Zyliss grater, so I bought another for the smaller quantities I usually grate. Between the two, I have the right tool for what I’m doing at the time. This isn’t a negative comment, just my view and concern... being that the larger Orecchi has a longer handle, It flexes a bit when I squeeze it while grating. I worry that I’ll eventually break it over time, so if I’m grating a particularly hard cheese, I squeeze the handles right up against the grater head, or squeeze the push block/head itself. Only a minor adaptation on my part, I really like the Orecchi when I need a larger grater. The second Orecchi grater I got as a gift is in use and working out well.Bill

decent value for the price-edited review
UPDATE-5/1/2019 - After posting a question about replacement blades, and failing to find another way of contact, I posted the negative review below. I was immediately contacted by a company representative, who apologized, refunded my money in full, and sent me a brand new grater. This one, so far anyway, is working well. The product still has a "flimsy" feel to it, but I've used all blades, especially the fine blade, quite often without any problem. I've used it for Parmesan cheese primarily. Although the Parmesan rind is difficult to grate, the product manages to grind through it.Result: I'm changing my review to reflect 4-stars. The customer service was excellent, I wish posting the original negative review was not needed to facilitate that. The product would get 5-stars IF it didn't feel like it would fail at any time. I'm happy with it, the new grater is good value for the price.(My original review:)I wanted to like this grater, I bought it to replace the old box grater I've used for years. I tried the medium sized drum for parmesan, and it broke on the first use. The second time I used it, I tried the smaller sized drum, again for parmesan. The handle snapped. I wasn't able to use it much, but it seems the top "press" pushes forward, and whatever is being grated gets jammed. I think I'll be looking for a metal grater, the plastic doesn't seem to hold up.

I was super excited, but not really a fan of the ...
Update- a year after ordering this the plastic arm finally snapped. It lasted longer than I expected, but it certainly didn't last long.I was super excited, but not really a fan of the product. It's the first rotary cheese grater I have tried, so perhaps my expectations were too high. Product seems very light and I'm afraid I'm going to break the plastic. It hasn't so far, and we use it a couple times a week. It is easy enough to use, but clean up is a pain. And grating soft cheeses is a bigger pain.I do like not sacrifing my fingertips. We will see how long this thing lasts.
