Great phone and steady and reliable worth the money

Nice fitting case. I got the red case, and it is a nice bright matte with a subtle metal flake. I like the covers for the headphone jack and charging port, they are easy to close and hold securely. I have a Note 3, and my speaker is on the bottom of my phone, so I like that this case has the speaker opening on the front so it diverts the sound toward me. It is not the quality of an Otter Box, but is also easily worth twice the price I paid for mine. I wouldn't call it bad quality, and am more than happy with my purchase. After using for a couple months, the color is starting to rub off, but I actually like the look.I also want to address some issues others had in their reviews:Some reviews have addressed a spot on the shell of the case that has no color. The color is painted on white plastic (at least for the red one), and the spot is on the inside, where no one will see. This is just where the shell was placed down to be painted. I do imagine this color will rub off over time, exposing the white. The black one may be black plastic, not sure.There were also reviews saying it is hard to remove. This is true if you remove the shell and rubber separately, but you can actually remove both at the same time with relative ease.

This case feels pretty sturdy.The design is nice and not bulky.It keeps the phone pretty slim.I was surprised that its all one piece.Thought it would be two piece like my old case.Putting the phone in was pretty easy.It has a slight lip to keep the screen off flat surfaces.I like the four small little pads on the back that barely protrude out of the case.Looks like its to keep the phone from sliding.The bumpers on the corners are pretty well designed.They don't stick out or make the case look bigger and they look sturdy enough to protect the corner drops.The power and volume buttons works perfect.The covers for the headphone jack and charge port fit nicely.I think some people might have problem getting the stylus out depending on how big their fingers are.It has three small holes where the speaker is and they face up.My other case didn't cover the speaker so I was worried how loud the sound would be.It actually seems to sound louder.As for protection,I haven't dropped my phone yet and not planning to but,I think it will do a good job of protecting my phone.

This is my fourth cover for my Note 3, and I think it will actually be my last. It is well made. The minty colored hard cover is that color throughout, it's not a white hardcover with a cheap paint coat that will chip off like the last one. The black rubber portion does not show the dirt and oils from the hands. The holes line up great. I like that there are dust covers. There's not as many as my last case but at least there is a power plug one. The case as a whole stays firmly on my phone and I've dropped it quite a few times and have had no issue with the case or the phone being damaged. The only thing that annoys me, which is likely the case for all phone cases, is that the dust cover for the power plug doesn't stay shut. It did at first, but when you charge your phone, the charger bends the plug cover back and it eventually prefers to stay that way. That said, I'd still buy this case again. In fact, the first one I ordered was damaged and I reordered. Very happy I did.

Maybe it'll ease up after several uses.Headphone & charging port access- 5 stars The stock charger fits and the headphone clearance appears to be adequate enough to accept various sized jacks.

The silly metallic looking backing plate (mine was golden) falls right off. However, the remaining black rubberized piece does work well and protects my Note 3 quite very well. Without the backing plate the power and volume buttons are more accessible, as well. With the backing plate, they are much harder to feel for, because they are flush with the decorative plate.I believe that the aluminum backing plate's function was intended as functional, as I expected it to be, but as it is a snap-on piece that falls off easily at first use, its only function is decorative and when on, it simply falls off or flails up like an extra obstacle.BUT out of the three cases I purchased for my Note 3, this one was the most protective (without using the stupid decorative aluminum looking back plate attachment). Trouble is, I wanted it to look good, too.Since writing this review, I have noticed that there seems to be an extra ambience microphone to the side above the lower right corner on the edge that this case seems to cover-up. That said, so did the one of the other two cases I purchased.The vendor contacted me and offered a new case or a refund. I opted for a refund, but I am now more impressed with the vendor and have raised the 2 star rating to a 3 star rating. It has its merits, I just don't think its for me.

Fits my note perfectly. Gave it new life.
