VERY SMALL
Love that you can go to Avery's website, pop in the Avery label # and then design and print! SUPER easy. This label is just toooooo small for all of the information needed for the front of a candle. It's a fabulous label though. I'm only giving 4 stars because it just actually is smaller than I thought, even after measuring before ordering.

These really stick!
I make personal care products to sell. These are oil based, so hard to remove all the residue from the outside and have a label stick. These do the trick!! The Avery website gives you the tools to modify and make your own labels, which is an added bonus!!

Great labels, if a little bit expensive.
These labels are great, if a little expensive. That's normal for Avery, though. I like that these are designed for jarring, and are thus extra sticky and water resistant. Printing on them was no problem - though I created my own template from scratch, just because I heard there were problems with the one provided by Avery. This allowed me to make sure the positioning was exactly tuned to my specific printer. Everything worked out great.

Keep it Simple or Get Bigger Size
The ink smears too easy is my only real complaint. When applying label to jar, the ink that had dried for several hours.

Love the labels.. Word needs to update their label list so the user doesn't have to use the clunky online version
Avery labels are always a time saver, however, the online "design program" is HORRIBLE! I didn't find any downloadable version as of yet. It looks like Avery wants you to use their online utility and it, frankly, SUCKS. I ruined MANY labels even after I thought I had it just right on plain paper and I've been doing this for years. The online alignment tool is horrible and too difficult to really align for home users.I designed software for 20 years so I'm not your average user... but if I have to say.. if I had trouble... I can only imagine other users.

WORK GREAT ON JAM JARS
I have been making nearly 200 jars of jam from berries picked here in NW Maine. The labels add a nice touch to the finished jars which I then mail to friends. I will be ordering more for next year.

AVERY DOES NOT SUPPORT LABELS # 8216 ANYMORE - I THOUGHT I CHOSE THE CORRECT PROGRAM BUT IT DOES NOT LINE UP ONCE PRINTEDIF I HAD NOT ALREADY USED A PAGEI WOULD RETURN THIS PRODUCTNEXT TIME I'LL GO TO STAPLES
