BlueSunshine BB8 Front and Back Disk Brake Kit - 160mm For 80cc Gas Motorized Bicycle (BB8 Disk Brake Kit - G3-3)

Well this was the first time of working with disc brakes on a bicycle, so I was very excited when I got them, but when I tried to put them on, I realised pretty quickly that they wouldn't work. The holes wouldn't line up on the hub, no matter which way I turned them, it just wasn't happening. So at first I thought, "Did I do something wrong, so I went back out to YouTube to see how it was done, again, and sure enough I wasn't doing anything wrong. So I went back to my order page on Amazon and brought up the reviews on this product and found that there were many who had bought these only to find out that the holes wouldn't line up on there hubs either, so apparently the seller knows there is a design problem with these disc brakes and chooses to sell them anyway.

I was concerned about the reviews that said the holes do not line up. I got them anyway surprise, the holes did not line up, however I was not about to return them. I used the holes next to the bolt holes with a washer. The disc is most likely not suppose to be removed from the free wheel attachment, and used alone. Which I did and most likely is what happened to the others.Update The pads do not last long maybe a month. For that reason alone, I am lowering my stars too one. I can only speak for the BB8 pads. Also the BB8 pads are harder too comebuy. My advice do not get the ones, that require the BB8 pads. I just ended up tossing them too much hassle replacing pads or adjusting every month.

Well, you can see the spelling on the break system is spelled different. The pad system I received was spelled Bolds. Not Bolids like in their add. The two cables are long ones. Not one long and one short one. I got two small disk brake disks with short screws in them you have to take out...and when you try to do that...the aluminum screw heads strip out from the wrench...so you have to drill them out ...for disks that are the different than the ones in the add....in the one pitchure the disk on top is the one in the add and the bottom one is the one you get. I had the one on top...and that is why I ordered this kit...and got two of the ones on the bottom. Amazon told me they would quit shipping this kit...but have not. I will call them again after this review is posted so they can see it too What a fricking bummer man !

The calipers are nice easy to service and set up. The levers are meh. They are all metal but have alot of slop and cast lines for days but for the price the calipers rotors and cables are with the price. I have these on a cruiser and the stop. But im not bombing a double black diamond or smashing the pavement in diverse conditions just trying to look slick on a cruiser putting around the smooth flat bike path at just above walking speed

With this package, you get all you need to install the disk brake system, but beaware that you will need a longer brake cable line, the one supplied is not long enough, you will need a 200mm or 2mts long to reach the new caliper, order it in advance to install it when you receive your brake system, good luck
