This product doesn’t work in the numerous materials it states. Not a good product

hardens with uv but not as string as expected

Tried to squeeze out the glue, but the tip seemed sealed. Snipped off the tip, only to realize there was some metal tube inside that got jammed/squeezed in the process. Unable to get the glue out afterwards. Ridiculous that they don’t provide any clue on how to get the glue out of the thing.

I really tried- but really the UV light glue kit doesn’t work for me at all. I gave it even more than 5 seconds - and it doesn’t really want to hold. Metal to metal especially not. It is not cheap and for this it is very disappointing. Super glue has its disadvantages - but at least it works and it is far cheaper!

With 4 kids who seem to break everything they touch we had high hopes for this product but unfortunately after using it 3 times we have had no luck. It initially sticks the broken item but after touching the glue just cracks. We are back on superglue which at least gives us more than 2 minutes without rebreaking. Save your money and go to the dollar store for superglue.

I first bought this product in December 2021 and was very pleased with its performance and subsequently re-filled the pen once or twice from the refill bottle supplied. However when I went to use it again about 6 months later I could not get the glue to fully harden so with a bit of a fiddle I managed to replace the light battery as I thought it’s UV output must be down. I can only assume the product “goes off” after a few months once opened. I therefore purchased a new pen and refill as the performance had been good though the fact it went off after a few months was disappointing. However when I went to use the new pen the nozzle was blocked and when I opened it up I found the pen was empty. I then found the refill bottles plastic sealed had been broken and that the refill was also empty. The product is delivered in a clear rigid plastic moulded pod that clips together but is not otherwise sealed. So the product could be (and clearly was) removed from the packaging and used, (extensively given the refill was also empty) then replaced into the package and returned to stock. I have requested a return and refund which I am confident Amazon will honour given their usual excellent customer service. I will look for an alternative UV activated glue given the first batch went off in the course of a few months and the second batch had been used and returned to stock.
