A friend of mine had a problem. Next to her loo she had a bath to her right and a sink to her left. The only place her boyfriend imagined he could put a loo roll holder was above the loo cistern behind the loo ! Anyway, because she had a loo roll holder on the wall already which is now the spare loo roll holder, and her bathroom is chrome everywhere, I bought her this for her birthday. She's now happy ! This I will say, is only in my opinion, a single loo roll holder, the faffing about to put loo rolls on the stem as spares to hand for an emergency isn't worth the time. The top half of the screw stem is one piece milled from a single piece of steel, the lower half the same, so no rusting worries or the finish eroding. The base is marble and weighty enough for the 'loo roll tug' without the thing falling over easily. A good buy in my opinion if you don't mind storing spare rolls elsewhere. The most positive thing for this holder besides it's good weight and non-rusting lifetime appeal, is it's simple good look ! ( Caveat emptor ! ) - buyer beware, you have been told !

It's worth paying the extra money for this compared to the cheaper fully chrome stands from other sellers (I received a chrome one from another seller which didn't fit together so I had to bin it). This is heavy and solid.

I was very happy with this product it is very sturdy. I read reviews saying it was annoying you had to take it apart to store and use spare toilet rolls. I did not need it to store them so am really pleased with it. Love the ceramic base.

I bought this for our new house and as I am 8 months pregnant I find it hard to twist around to reach the loo roll currently. It was very easy to assemble and looks great in the bathroom. It is incredibly sturdy.
