This does what you think it would do. The price is right and it is very easy to use. It looks good and fits well in my prop supplies. I have experimented with several things on top to see if it is still able to turn smoothly and within reason, it absolutely will. My only complaint is the sound. It isn't a total deal breaker as I just remove the sound from my videos, but I wanted to be transparent.

I recently purchased the Hicarer Rotating Display Stand 360 Degree Motorized Turntable Stand with USB Power Cable for Photography Products and Shows in black (PVC). Given the low price point, I wasn’t expecting top-notch quality, and that’s exactly what I got. Firstly, the build quality is quite cheap. The materials feel flimsy, and I wouldn't trust it with anything too heavy. However, considering the price, this is somewhat expected. It's a basic, no-frills product that serves its purpose without any extra bells and whistles. One major downside is the movement. The rotation at times becomes quite jerky, which makes it unsuitable for video shoots. If you're planning on using this for smooth, continuous shots, you'll likely be disappointed. The jerky motion is quite noticeable and could disrupt the flow of your video. On the positive side, it works fine for product photography. The turntable rotates adequately to capture different angles of your items so for static shots where motion isn't a factor, this turntable does the job. Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly rotating stand for product photography, this could be a reasonable choice. Just don't expect it to perform well for video due to its jerky movement. Please note i put the box on the turntable to help capture the jerky movement, you can see it a little bit. This box only weighs 1lb, the listed capacity is 6lbs. I have not had a chance to try anything heavier but would imagine it would cause the jerkiness of the motion to be more noticeable

I was so overly happy with this purchase. It was the perfect size, it was an actual mirror, it actually used batteries and a cord. The first time I used it was only a test to see if it worked, and it did! All of the buttons did what they were supposed to do. The packaging didn't bring instructions so I had to come back to this listing to know what the buttons meant, and how to turn it off. The second time I used it was with actual products for my shop, it worked for a couple of minutes, until it suddenly stopped doing 360 turns. It did the 40 perfectly, but once you went over that, it would just stop mid turn, and not want to continue turning. If you pressed the button to change the setting, or to move to the right, it would move very little, around 4mm. Not even a full inch would it turn. I'd turn it on and off to try and I guess reset it, and the same problem would arise. I had to return it, it was absolutely useless at that point because I only got it to get 360 views of my products.

Love that it works plugged in

You do get what you pay for .. Using it as a rotating stand to display dice. It works OK but it makes as much noise as the fridge in the garage. The shiny sticker for the top marks very easily (avoid wiping it with a dry cloth). The rotation's a little shuddery at low speeds. Works with USB, AAA, and Vape batteries which is nice. Arrived on time in working order. It does the job but it's definitely not premium.

Good for product reviews

the rotating display is ideal but the unit gives off a light when on and that is what bothered me enough to return it since more light was not was I wanted. the noise is minimal and won't be noticed in a crowded room. the colour options are terrible and the reflective one arrived all scratched up. I returned it.

I bought this with assumption that this item can be charge. It’s not. You can use the usb cable for the battery source. But once it’s unplugged, you need battery to turn it on. Product wise, nice one.
