12-LED Cool White Submersible Fountain Ring

These throw out a very bright light and are superior to solar lights. We have on a timer and they work well for a large fountain.

Works great . It slides right over a fountain pipe and faces up to illuminate the fountain in the dark, as well as lights the surrounding pool well, too. and what's not to love about the cheap energy of the led lights. I could wish they offered it in a warm white instead of the cool white color light. the cord is nice and long to run from the pump in the center of a big fountain, out to a plug. All the parts and cord seem well made. The price is the best for anything like it.

I bought this in 2020 and use it May - October every year and it still works fine. The size is great but it’s not really bright enough for my application- a small fountain that’s 24” wide and 10” deep.

I have an unusual "doughnut shaped" fountain with a small trough at the bottom of the ring which has about a 2 1/2 foot opening. A fountain pumps water over the top of the ring which has a trough with a half dozen spaced 1/4" holes. The water then flows down, shower-like, to the bottom trough. At night the light shines up through the small pool in the bottom trough up into the shower and it just looks terrific. I installed the light over six weeks ago and it still works fine.

Ran flawlessly for 5 years and then started getting flakey so I was happy to see I could get the same pump again. Super easy to install, and it is running again. If anything could be improved it would be if the light offered different modes, or even better a remote, especially one with all the leds on (whiteish).

The brightness for the price is miles above most of the other options in this price range. It's a daylight-balanced light (more white/blue than tungsten/yellow/warm). But it shines nicely through the churning water of our small waterfall feature. Highly recommended.

I bought three of these and now that they are past the 30 day return period, the LEDs are burning out, on each one!! Most LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. I’ve not used these for more than 350 hours. They should offer refunds with this track record.
