Used to drill a wall for plugs which accepted M10 Coachbolts.

I bought this bit to replace a 2 year old Bosch bit which has been getting a bit blunt over the past few months. When it arrived I was very sceptical about how well the bit would perform when I saw the quality of it. The image of the bit makes the tip look like it's going to be very well made, on receipt I saw that the teeth at the end were just poorly tack welded into slots in the end of the bit. I was right to be sceptical, I've had this bit for just over a month and used it on about 4 jobs so far, drilling holes into brick and stone work for CCTV camera connections. 1 of the teeth came out after the 2nd job and today another one has come out. This is quite literally the worst drill bit I've tried, had to finish the job off with the old Bosch bit as this one is just knackered. Should have known that it would be junk from the price. If your only going to use this occasionally on say soft sand stone then MAYBE it'll be ok, of you plan on doing frequent serious drill then do not waste your money, spend a bit more on the Bosch bits, they last you far longer. Long lasting my backside!!!

I wanted this to drill some flags and concrete to mount some bolts, they worked well for that but I did find I needed 3 size bits to do it as going straight through one took some effort but drilling a guide hole then widening it then using the end size worked well.
