I have a MCBOOK PRO MID-2012 version. It has been a dependable laptop for me for years. I started getting a warning that my battery was having issues and it wan't holding a charge for that long. I decided it was time to replace it.I contacted Apple and they have discontinued support of my laptop and sent me to a local repair center. They wanted over $200 to replace the battery. So I decided to look elsewhere.I found this battery and decided to give it a go. I am so happy that I did. It was extremely easy to install. The video demonstration on how to replace it was great. Everything I needed was in the package, tools and all.It took me about 15 minutes to complete. I can once again work on my laptop without having to be plugged in. It's like having a new laptop!

Update 08/12/2019I had a friend carry this for me overseas, where I have been for the last few month. It looked to be of a very good quality, installation was straight forward. The very first thing I noticed and didn't like was the age of it, it was manufactured over 400 days prior (which is usually not a good sign for any battery, since it means, it wasn't maintained for more than 6 mo, which is detrimental to any battery, but since I wasn't back home, I had no choice, but to give it a try. It had Zero cycle, and it's original capacity was even higher the standard 7200mAh.things worked pretty well, in the first few charging cycles, in fact I was impressed that the charging capacity was actually increasing, not decreasing with every few cycles, and I thought I might have better luck than some of teh reviewers, who left reviews about their negative experiences, however as luck had it, I wasn't. Recently the battery capacity had been steadily declining at an alarming rate, and although still above 7200mAh, the way things are going, I doubt this battery will make it even 4-6 mo, as compared to me last one which lasted 4-5 yrs, but unfortunately they don't exist any more.Will be contacting the seller to see, what they can do to help with the vastly degrading and soon to be failing battery , only 4-6 weeks from purchase, if not even that !!----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------First the good1- Fast shipping2- Reasonable price3- Good finishing and the included tools are of good quality4- Battery is really new with 1 cycle on it5- Installation was as hoped for, straight forward with no issues, in under 5 minutes, and it did fit perfectly, and thank God my track pad is working again, after removing the swollen old battery6- Capacity was 7324 mAh. instead of the design capacity of 7200 mAhThen, Unfortunately the bad which is much more important1- 456 day old (manufactured 03/28/2018 - while this per se, may not bother me, but along with the rest it did.2- Was not 50-60% charged, as it should be and usually are, since it had been stored for over a year.3- No included clear instructions on how to charge it, specially for the first few cycles, do you have to condition/ calibrate it or not, as there are lots of controversy wether new Li ion batteries needs that these days or not, as opposed to older batteries, and if it does, different website indicates different methods for doing it, some indicate draining it only to 20-50 %, some indicate that not only you have to completely drain it, but you have to leave the computer unplugged after it turn off for a while, while others say you have to leave it plugged for several hours (basically overcharge it, at least for teh first cycle). my older battery which unfortunately not available any more, that was make bt KY power, and I bought in 2014, had very clear instructions on how to do it, this one had one vague line on teh box fro outside, which doesn't really give ay useful information.4- I contacted CS thought their website messaging system, not through amazon yesterday, to get clear instructions, since their website lacked any useful information as well. 24 hrs later, the message came back into my mail box undeliverable!5- It discharge very quickly, just for normal browsing, nothing else running in the back, with the screen light at the second dash and the key board at the first dash (I certainly expected to last, at least the advertised 3.5 hrs, if not longer at these setting), it barely lasted 2 hrs the first two cycles, and I certainly won't expect it to get any better for there, I certainly expect it to fall over the next month or two, that's if I keep it, to what other customers have noted any where from 15-30 minutes at most6- The last 10-15% runs out specially fast, and unlike the original and my last replacement, it jut went from 7% to being dead with no warning at all that it will7- for some reason, even with nothing taxing on the CPU/GPU, no audio, video, games, photos, nothing , even when middle, my fans were running much louder an for much longer than they ever did, even though I did rest my SMC multiple times.8- Likely because it's a year old and was not properly stored/ recharged at least 50% in over a year, the cells are not going to be functioning as expected and hoped.. the capacity started falling already, although I am only on teh second cycle, this used to take numerous cycles to happen on my older batteries. this went from 7324 to 7316 already in 2 cycles, which is insignificant, but if it continues at that rate or accelerated one, it will never make it for 6 mo or teh promised 500 cycles !Not sure yet, if I will keep it, but I certainly not thrilled so far and I certainly wouldn't recommend it...Will try to post some images later

It was relatively easy to install. Be very careful not to lose any screws when taking the laptop apart. I put it on a towel and put the screws near the holes they came out of as I went. Also, be very careful not to strip the screw heads or it will be almost impossible to get them out. It is easy to do accidentally if you use the wrong 'screwdriver' on one of the little screws. I recommend watching a video on replacing the battery before starting this task.

Ordered on 12/2017. The battery after 2 years (out of 18 month warranty) got swollen in the macbook and destroyed my Trackpad. It was however easy to install and worked well in the time it was working. But please not to be careful after the warranty mark of 18 months as it may swell.I contacted EGOWAY directly before posting this review to see if they could assist with this, but no reply. I will try to find Track pad and another company for the battery replacement to get my MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012) to working again.

Early 2011 Macbook Pro 15.4", Perfect Fit & Function. Everything in the Apple reported status looked normal, the battery seems to deliver power like the original one, and it fits perfectly. The two screwdrivers included were all the tools that I needed. The shipping was fast enough. My original Apple branded Lithium Ion battery had puffed up after 6 years of service, and was pushing against the Track Pad and rendering it unusable. I am glad that I discovered this issue before it got a lot worse! The lesson learned here is that (in general), Lithium Ion batteries tend to puff up when they fail.

Easy to install. Great charge. Works like a charm.

Batterie fabriquée en mars 2015 pour l’utilitaire gratuit CoconutBattery!!! Après un 1er vidage complet jusqu’à extinction pour un calibrage la batterie s’est rechargé "normalement. Après le 2nd vidage, je rebranche au secteur, je redémarre, et instantanément la batterie indique 52% de charge. Pas top...

This replaced a cheap battery which has failed after only a few months and wasn't recognised by macos. It's been in now for a few fews and going great.
