Is the clip strong enough to hold an iPad?

It is not. Get a kneeboard designed to securely hold the tablet for not only its protection but also to not allow a heavier, loose object to become free in the cabin.

Does the strip adjustable for the leg? because the picture didn't show how this would be adjustable.

It's a Velcro fastener so it's adjustable by how tight you make the Velcro fastener.

Is the pen holder reversible so that this can be worn on either the right or left leg?

Yes it is. It is part of the strap and can be removed and installed in reverse to get the pen holder on the other side. Good product and useful.
