Diet Whey contains: whey protein: derived from milk and high in amino acids such as cysteine and glutamine, whey protein concentrate is typically comprised of various protein fractions (such as Beta lactoglobulin) that are being regularly researched and studied for their potential benefits to health and well being. Soya protein: isolated from the soy bean, soya protein isolate is extremely high in protein when in raw format (up to 90 percent), low fat, low carbohydrate and becoming a staple and better understood form of high quality protein for health and weight control. Soybeans also contain biologically active or metabolic proteins, such as enzymes, trypsin inhibitors, hemagglutinins, and cysteine proteases very similar to papain. Milk protein: typically high in the important branched chain amino acids (leucine, isoleucine and valine). diet Whey also contains a plethora of added ingredients that are used extensively in a variety of weight loss formulas on the market, such as: CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid): CLA is a linoleic fatty acid found traditionally in dairy and fish and has long been used in weight management formulas as an addition, or stand-alone ingredient. L-carnitine: in living cells, carnitine is required for the transport of fatty acids from the cytosol into the mitochondria during the breakdown of lipids (fats) for the generation of metabolic energy. Green tea extract: Green Tea extract is a herbal derivative from green tea leaves. Green tea extract contains catechism or green tea catechism, which have been used by health conscious individuals for many years for it's potential antioxidant effect. Great powder.
I’ve made free smoothies with this.I use this as a meal replacement in the morning and lunch I eat 2 fruits with each one too. I add kale and spinach in with some skimmed milk. I couldn’t believe that the vanilla masked the taste. Brilliant!I have used it with out milk but not with the greens yet. Still tasted fine.I also blend in a food processor with ice.I’ve tried many of these kinds of powders and this has to be the best one. I don’t know if i have lost any weight yet as I’m currently in the last weeks of pregnancy soooo weight has gone up.

Smells good, powdery taste
This has a bit of a weird texture. It smells amazing but the flavor is a bit powdery almost. Like a raw flour kind of taste, not a powdery protein powder taste, if that makes sense. It has a weird consistency and isn't very creamy. I'd try the regular version of the PhD protein because I think it would be delicious but the additions to this one that make it diet seems to mess with the consistency too much.

Great ingredient for homemade protein bars.
Easy to use from the bag. I've made a couple of batches of protein bars from recipes online. If you want a more intense chocolate flavour adding cocoa powder works.Personally I prefer to add a couple of drops of vanilla essence dor a more subtle taste.

I didn't like it
My first protein powder. Thought I'd see what all the fuss was about, and I'd seen a recipe for protein brownies so I thought I'd check this product out. Not for me. A false sugar taste, should have looked at the ingredients more carefully.
