Downloads have become much simpler. Installation as well, although as cautioned by some reviewer web sites, you do have to spend some time with it afterwards, to see all that has/does, and enable or download some of its included components. This 'Security Cloud' version does all that the 'Total Security' does, and of course more - but at pretty much the same price. Don't buy directly from Kaspersky as the original price was about $100, even though they will have promos for 15-30% off. Other web sites will offer 50% off, but I got it here on Amazon for around 70% off.

In the past Kaspersky used to very intuitive, smart and helpful. I was trying to choose between Kaspersky and Norton, and bought Kaspersky. Almost every single Microsoft or Samsung genuine software blocked. Even if you tell Kaspersky that you trust that software it will come up again and again. Very annoying! Gladly would return it, but it's non-returnable.

I'd say it is quirky.Was totally compatible on my HP laptop and nonfunctional in my Win 11 ASROCK 58X super gamer----not the least hint of a "K" error code to explain.K support was ghostly and robotic and ineffective on the HEDT failure of this AV suite.BTW I bought a 5 pk. & have good function on a Ryzen 4650G based HTPC.As to the disfunction on the HEDT there is no clue.

I've been using Kaspersky for years. I've never had any issues with their security programs at all. This is so light you cannot even tell it's running in the background.
