Favorite Cake Mix Recipes

I guess that if anything is true, I have learned that cooking is not easy for a person like me. I didn't learn how to cook growing up, I always was outside working with my dad. My head under the hood of a big rig and fetching tools. My brothers hated working with him, and I was the only one that loved it. I did learn how to fend for myself with cars and almost anything else. My dad always said that it was good to be a girl, but that girl needed to know how to be self-sufficient. Well, I definitely am that, thanks to him. Oh, and he always made me wear gloves to that I would still have soft hands WITHOUT grease under the nails!!! LOL That being said I have collected cookbooks so that I can fix anything that I want. I love having the digital ones, they don't take up any space. Also having a small family now that the kids and grandkids are grown, having a cookbook is the only way to go in making smaller portions.

The recipes are great, but I wish I would of checked the description better as the only pictures are what you see on cover.

If you aren't interested in baking from scratch then this is the book for you. I am trying to cut down on chemicals and prepackaged foods so this book is not what I want. Even the cookies require a cake mix which just seems silly to me.

I am very pleased and somewhat surprised at the large number of recipes in this cookbook. I love to bake, but can no longer stand for long periods of time. The majority of these recipes require little standing time. I can't wait to get back to baking again!!!

The recipes include just the right amount of variety with easy household ingredients.I would definitely recommend this recipe book to beginning bakers or more experienced ones. It is such a time saver no matter who you are. Try the coffee cake, it’s absolutely delicious.

There is no nutritional information.This cookbook is about using a regular cake mix and enhancing it a bit with other items to make it special.Has chapters on making bread, cookies, etc with a cake mix.I'm not comfortable substituting for the ingredients myself due to dietary needs.Like the two ingredient cake and have seen and tasted this in WVa on our trip for a family wedding.

Lots of quick and easy recipes for the harried homemaker. Easy enough for the kids to help. Good variety of dump cakes, Bundt cakes, bars, cookies, quick breads, and coffee cakes.

It's October and time to start baking. Some of these I knew and a few were almost repeats of recipes earlier in the book but all in all it's a good and easy book. I'm going to let my teenage son make some. I especially like the steudel and coffee cake recipes.
