CWR-F2 Transitions Pinlock Ready Motorcycle Helmet Face Shield

I had been looking for a CWR-F2 transition visor for months. Everything was sold out and shoei was incredibly slow to restock. I found this listing and was skeptical at first seeing these visors selling for double the MSRP on ebay while falling victim to scalpers. This visor arrived and is a genuine oem Shoei transition visor. It installed easily as always. With the clear inner pinlock, I experience absolutely zero fogging even on the coldest mornings. The transition from clear to nearly black happens quickly and effectively. I don't even think about it at this point. No matter what time of day, night, rain, or shine, this visor adjusts to allow the perfect amount of light through. No more changing lenses in the dark, no more finding a spot on my naked bike to stash a visor, no more riding visor up while squinting through the wind when I didnt have a clear shield on me. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and find one of these ASAP

Does not transition. Waste of money.

This is a genuine, brand new shoei transitions lens, and it does dim as expected. Wanted to let others know this is legit given some of the reviews here.

I ordered this visor because it was advertised as photochromatic, but the product I received does not change tint in sunlight. I only opened it after the season and tested it outdoors; exposure to direct sunlight produces no change. I realize I missed the return period, so this review is intended to let other buyers know the feature may not work and to request the seller confirm whether this is a manufacturing defect or a listing error. Photos of the visor in indoor and direct sunlight are attached for reference.

Great price on this item. A pleasure to do business with. The shield itself is awesome. Gone are the days of switching from clear to dark so I could ride to or from somewhere as the day progresses.the shield holds up well and is optically correct. Reasonably easy to change out but once it’s installed you won’t have to change it again for a long time as long as you don’t mistreat it.

Exactly what I ordered and fairly quick shipping.

I am currently on my third attempt at ordering the Transitions visor for my rf-1400. My first attempt I tried to order used to save a bit of money. Order arrived and packaging and visor that was shipped was a clear lens. Started return and ordered a NEW transitions visor figuring that there wouldn't be any mix up. When I opened the package, I was happy to find that the wrapper was the correct wrapper for the transitions visor. However, the wrapper was already opened when I pulled it from the box. Once I got the visor out of the wrapper, I found that the visor was actually just a normal clear lens. Then verified this by sticking the visor in front of a UV light then placed it in the sun for a few minutes and there was absolutely no change as you can see in the video/pictures. I would also like to note that there was no protective film on the front of the visor as you would typically find on a new visor (there was a nice deep scratch though) nor was the Transitions logo on the visor as I understand is supposed to be there. I could definitely understand the mix up when ordering a used visor but when ordering a brand-new visor there shouldn't even be a question at all as the wrapping for the visor should have never been opened.

This is my second Shoei transitions visor. My first one was for my RF-1200. That one is over 5 years old and lasted though a low fall so I'm trusting this visor will be just as good. It gets almost as dark as the smoked visor. The transition time is fast. I often ride into the sun and no visor can blocker out all the light. Instead of wearing sunglasses when needed I added the Helmet Sunblocker to the top of the visor. It's great a combination of products and in certain situations, a life saver. I suggest this visor for every RF-1400.

Queda perfecta para lo RF 1400, elimina la necesidad de gafas integradas o en este caso, llevar dos micas o llevar gafas de sol. Debo decir que no es tan oscura a la vista como parece, la mica por fuera si se ve como si fuera ahumada de fábrica al sol, pero por dentro no se ve tan oscuro, cosa que en mi caso, es bastante positiva. Considero el combo de RF 1400 + Transitions superior al GT Air 3, al final terminan costando similar en combo respecto a este último.
