Best replacemetn at easy cost
It works if you follow the directions. The Garage door at work needed a new one badly. This replacement should last a long time and make it easy. The replacement worked perfectly. So Ya easy use and bingo ready to go.

Quick and simple programming, works great.
Originally bought these as a temporary solution when my wife's car was at the repair shop and she had a rental without a garage door opener. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this was to program to our garage door. It literally took about 10 seconds to reach up, press the purple button on the garage door opener, then the button on the remote. That was it. Once we get our car back, we'll use these as backup openers when we leave the house to visit neighbors or go for hikes nearby. Since we have two garage doors, I programmed the second remote for the other side. There were no instructions on changing the battery, but I'm going to assume when the time comes, I'll need to remove the two screws in the fron and replace with one of the button styles similar to car remotes.

Small, light, easy to program and good range
After having less than stellar experiences with Liftmaster and Chamberlain mini remotes (terrible range, poor battery life, difficult to program) I decided to give these a try.Unlike the other two, programming was a cinch and these are smaller and lighter and have great range. And about 1/3 the price. Haven't had them long enough to evaluate battery usage but I'll edit this review if that turns out to be a problem. Oh yeah, the other two also constantly interfered with my keyless locking. These do on occasion but not nearly as much as the other two.

Easy to Program
The Keypad was easy to install and program before installing, the housing lid is a better design than the old one. The battery that came with the Keypad was already connected and only lasted a week, so you will need to have a New 9V Battery on hand.

Stopped working
Worked OK for a few weeks. The small form factor is great. Unfortunately both remotes of the pair completely stopped working after a couple months. Replaced the battery and no luck. Not a battery issue. Just a garbage product.

Fantastic device with added value at a reasonable price.
I received this product with Amazon Prime and got overnight delivery. It was programmed in less than a minute! The buttons beep when pressed which is amazing because it tells you if the code has been accepted so there is no guessing of you hit the button hard enough. Install was simple since I replaced an existing OEM Craftsman unit. The buttons do not stick when pressing. I would give this item six stars if I could. I bought one on Ebay that looks very similar for maybe a dollar less and it was total junk. Don't waste your money, if you have the purple learn button, buy this model. You won't be disappointed. The only thing I can't vouch for is longevity, but I will update my review later. Initial impressions are through the roof.Update: You may or may not like this feature. With the original unit, you could close the garage door from outside simply by hitting ENTER. With this unit, you have to enter the PIN, then hit ENTER. Not a big deal for me and adds some security, just thought I would add it to the review. Works flawlessly so far. Haven't missed a PIN entry yet.

Our system was old
Our system was more than 14 years old, but it had the purple button on the back. This single button was compatible and has performed well. It was very easy to set up. The instructions worked the first time! We have not completely tested the range but it has worked to the end of our driveway. Just the extra remote we needed. We plan to Velcro mount it in a convenient spot on the dash. Great size and key ring attachment to provide to a family member for temporary access to the garage.

Good but missing an important feature
Generic keypad that does not close your door when you press the enter button like the original liftmaster keypad does. You have to enter or re-enter your code to get it to close the door.... other than that it works good.
