Women's Platform Tennis Sneakers

These run SO small. I almost always wear a 6, but if anything, occasionally I will need a 5.5 in sneakers that run a little large. (I wear 5.5 in Converse, Adidas, and Vince, for example, since I have found all of those brands to run a little large.) I ordered my standard size 6 in these and was so disappointed in how small they are. The width is fine, but my toes are crammed in at the end of the foot bed. I wanted them for a trip and paid extra for overnight shipping, so that made it even more disappointing (and costly) that I will have to send them back for a 6 1/2. They are cute, but I can only give them a 3 out of 5 for how far off the sizing turned out to be.

Based on reviews, I ordered a full size larger but felt they were a bit too big. They were slipping off at my heels. Because the sole is stiff, I found that the half size larger gave me a “glove like” fit and that works rather well. I wear them without socks and haven’t had any odor issues. (I don’t typically have foot odor - but I have had a dreadful pair of shoes that didn’t breathe (and created odor issues) in the past and these definitely do breathe.) If you plan to wear them with socks, you may prefer a full size larger. Generally speaking, I prefer comfortable shoes. I’m still breaking these in, but they were pretty comfortable by the 2nd time I wore them. Bending the sole of the shoe inward with your hands a few times really helps add some flex to the sole which makes them much nicer to walk in... I love the looks of these. For around $50 for a nice pair of white sneakers, I think they are a good buy! (Now to keep the canvas clean!)

These shoes are made of all natural fibers which is nearly impossible to find anymore. They are beautiful, comfortable and breathable. People say that they run small, but this is not true. If you are an average size (not overweight) and your feet are average, get your usual size in these shoes. They are meant to be worn without socks and the canvas and fibers give, as well as conform to your foot. They will fit like a glove after a few wearings. If you do want to always wear socks, either wear thin socks, or perhaps consider 1/2 size bigger in the shoe. These shoes are also easily cleaned with a little soapy water and brush. The only other thing to be aware of is, like most espadrilles, there is no arch; your foot will be very flat in them, so bending the sole of the shoe a few times (someone with strong hands) may help your foot to roll heel to to toe as you walk.

This is my third pair of Soludos. I usually wears 5-6 depends on shoe styles, mostly 5 in pumps. I have narrow feet. My first pair of Soludos was the class lace-up platform in size 6. They were bit loose but perfectly comfortable with the lace. My Second pair was the slipper platform in size 6N however they were too big and I can barely wear them with half size pads (in front and back) especially after a few wears. I was very unsure when I bough this pair because a lot of comments here recommend to size up 1-2 sizes. But I had to but this pair of 5.5 cuz the deal was too good!! They were only 11.5 dollors and I am very glad I did!! I just tried them on and haven't been walking a lot but they fit! A touch tight but I know Soludos shoes stretch! I think if you have narrow feet you can size up half to 1 size.

I ended up returning these they were super small and uncomfortable to walk in I bought them for my trip to Mexico to have some cute shoes just for walking around in and the soles were so stiff so I sent them back

After reading the reviews, I decided to order a size up, and sure glad I did. In a women's converse I wear 5.5 comfortably without socks, and a 6 with socks. I ordered these in a 6.5 and they fit comfortably without socks.

Super cute, but it really took me a couple of tries to find the right size, and ultimately these still feel a little small and never really stretched out. This is my second purchase with Soludos, and in general, the shoes are pretty hard and have rough edges.

I have to send these back. I sized up because I know espadrilles always run small and the reviews were mixed. The size 8 fit like a size 6! I was shocked how tiny they were, I feel like they must be mislabeled.
