Looks clean, carries a lot of weight, very solidly grips 1/16" wire rope
This worked out really well to hang a pretty heavy 8 foot LED luminaire at two attachment points. I used them on both ends of the connection, with 1/16" wire rope in between. I screwed the base into the ceiling with a wood screw and then screwed the gripper's body onto the base. The wire rope then slides into the spring-loaded end and can be tightened down with the knurled nut.
