Sun Joe SPX-ESW4 5.5-Foot Aluminum Extension Spray Wand for SPX Series Pressure Washers

I purchased this product to render my Sun Joe power washer far more functional than it was “as is”. I use it for pretty much everything around my house, including power washing the fence in my back yard, the brick wall on one side of my house that’s predominantly in the shade and collects algae during the wet months, cleaning my car etc and it works perfectly for all those activities and then some.I have also used it to clean algae of the walls of my swimming pool once or twice and it is for that reason that I thought it would be ideal to have a wand extension so that I could simply and easily reach the lower portions of the side walls without having to stick my entire arm underwater to do so. No more using my steel wire pool brush to clean my pool. The Sun Joe makes quick work of green algae in a no muss, no fuss type of manner. It is of course slightly unwieldy with the full extension attached, but overall it is a highly functional accessory and I wouldn’t be without now.

Product is great, instructions not so much. Nowhere does it say what to do with the extra part ( attach to the far end). A bit unwieldy for me to use on a ladder, but did what I wanted and then I shortened the pole.

We bought this extension when we bought the power washer. It works as advertised but the extension tubes are not as robust as I expected. This may be due to a trade-off between robustness and weight. When you run water through the extension tubes, they do become heavy. If your application requires you to reach out as opposed to reaching up, you'll find that the tubes flex down. This is a minor complaint but I thought I'd point it out. It's much easier to use with two people, one to hold the tubes and aim the nozzle and the other to work the trigger and manage the feeder hose. If you can get help it works great.

Great for standing up straighter while power washing

This is a well made extension wand. It went together with no problem and worked well. Remember that it does not have any angle on the tip, so the placement of the stream can get a bit awkward as the distance is increased. Also, what I did not count on was the great increase in the moment arm of the extension with the tip under pressure. I ended up being quite sore from use of muscles to keep the extended tip under control. It saved me from climbing a ladder to reach the higher areas, but at the price of sore muscles from trying to keep it pointed where I wanted it pointed.

I did not think I could love my SunJoe pressure washer more than I did until now! My husband never gets to use it!! The pressure is still good with the extension however, I do have to use the tip that’s very narrow when I’m going high up. Reviewers mentioned how hard it is to put together however, it can only go together one way so I’m not sure how it was hard.... now, taking it apart was difficult for me only because it was to tight for me to unscrew. You don’t have to use all the extensions so you can make it a little longer or a lot! The price is incredible. Very happy with it

This seems to be very well made and works, but.... NOT light weight at all and difficult to use with all the attachments. I am not a lightweight guy, but need to tell you while using this tool under pressure it will give you a really good workout! The entire tool has some weight to it to begin with, and when you depress the handle, the pressure along with the tool weight makes it difficult to use for those high to reach places. The arms fatigue is a killer for large jobs.

I've bought a few accessories for my Sun Joe pressure washer that I got earlier this year. It took me a few minutes of reading & playing around with all the connections to figure out the easiest way to connect or disconnect various accessories. That said, I'm loving this extension kit.

Well made like all Sun Joe products. We have used it twice for 2-3 hours each time. As with all plastic parts, don't be reckless. Most of the product is metal. It functioned perfectly.

I found when you add all the extensions it was to heavy for me to use, being a female I couldn't use it for above my head.

Product arrived on time and with no damage. We have used it twice already and am very pleased with it.

This adjustable extension wand is an excellent attachment for our Sunjoe 2030 PSI pressure washer. It is very useful washing high areas on the house and also second story windows as a person does not have to climb so high on a ladder.
