100% Pure Honey, Sourwood, Raw and Unfiltered (Sourwood, 20 oz.)

This year's crop tastes absolutely amazing. I grew up on Sourwood Honey from the Appalachian Mountains of NC. One tablespoon of this golden honey, so thick you can chew it, took me back to my childhood summers in Blowing Rock/Boone area. Treat yourself to this Blue Haven Bee Company (from Georgia) crop quickly, it will soon be gone. Don't buy just one bottle, buy all you can afford.

I like honey and I've tried many different types and this one has a unique taste. It is pricey but I was curious for the flavor and the possible medical benefits.

This would appear to be a “blend” of sourwood with something else. Sourwood is very light in color not dark. This does have a hint of sourwood but it’s definitely not pure sourwood honey.

Taste good but not sour.

Good pure flavor with a hint of sour earthy forest like notes. Honey always taste like honey, but it has flavor notes of the types of flowers that the bees are collecting pollin from. GOOD STUFF

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't notice too much difference in taste.

I miss the sourwood honey from back home. You sure can't get it in Texas and it's been over 20 years since I had any. I ordered a bottle because this old lady wanted to taste it again. I use honey daily in my hot tea. If I could afford it I'd order it on a regular basis but the fact is it's too expensive for me. I'll have to settle for Texas honey but at least I got to taste my wonderful sourwood honey again. It gets 5 stars.

Tastes like true sourwood honey and at a good price.
