Our old valve handle was the original from when our pool was installed 21 years ago. The spring on the underside of the old handle was worn and mushy, so the handle wasn’t seated firmly and created a problem with the water pressure. It affected my pool vacuum, water return lines and error message on our new pool heater. It took me awhile to figure out that the mushy valve handle was the culprit. This new replacement valve handle was installed quickly (about 5 minutes) and fixed our water pressure problem.

The Pentair valve does everything it is supposed to do and does it correctly; however, after installing the valve Amazon notified me of the same valve only made by Hayward that was nearly $50 cheaper!I'm mostly disappointed in Amazon.

I bought this too valve to replace the one that broke on pool filter and I couldn’t be happier. I saved $80.00 compared to the price of the local pool supply store. The delivery was fast, so I had no concerns about my pool not circulating. I installed it myself and my pool was up and running in less than 2 days. I have had for a couple months now and have not had any problems… if anything I think it is better than the original. I would highly recommend it if you are needing a new valve top.

Everything you need comes in the box including both gaskets. Took less than 15min to change out and it fixed my problem.
