This drone is a blast to fly. I purchased it back in may. The remote control unit is substantial and doesn't feel like a cheapo throw away unit. The lights are bright and it is easy to learn how to fly it. I like the LCD display as it makes it easier to look down to see if I have the video camera going or what some of the trim settings are. I like the self landing feature too. I cannot really comment on the quality of video or pictures yet. This is the important part. I haven't had much time to play with it as I have been busy, but i just realized the camera/video was not working. I decided to contact the manufacturer. Sometimes this is difficult because most of these inexpensive fun items are produced overseas. They responded pretty quickly. They asked me if i would be willing to take the time to see if it was an error on my part or a bad SD card or if it was something i could otherwise resolve through email. I like to be helpful so i did. they even went as far as demonstrating something for me in a video and sending me the video. After a couple days of back and forth, only because of the time difference was it 2 days, they said they figured it was a manufacturing defect and that they were sending me a replacement and thanked me for assisting them and being patient. Accidents happen and no manufacturing process is perfect that is why customer service is so important and these ladies get it. Tina and Nina from Holystone went above and beyond to work on this for me so that is why I will be watching their offerings and will make it one of my number one buys. Once i receive the replacement I will make an update. I am not sure which country these ladies are working from, but I will say this; if these folks are in China Americans better get it together because this really is a high quality product for the price and they have better customer service than I have gotten from most American companies.

Thought this would be a great drone for my son from all the reviews I read, but as soon as he opened it the remote fell on the floor and one of the control levers broke off. Not impressed, but it was still functional. Flew it for a couple weeks with no problems, but then one prop stopped spinning in sync with the rest of them and would just flip the unit over. Now one of the wires that connects the battery to the circuit board has come loose and doesn't work at all. Disappointed in what I thought would be a great drone.

The drone itself costs $60 dollars, but the customer service offered by Holy Stone for it is priceless. First, lets talk about the drone. Being a beginner, flying this was a bit difficult as the controls are a bit sensitive. Once you get a hold of that. flying this thing is a breeze. On board camera definitely makes for some great shots and footage. The drone itself is very good quality and propellers are flexible, and not brittle like many other drones, not to forget that this drone comes with spares. LED's are also very bright.Still not enticed, just know that Holy Stone offers some of the best customer service offered by any company that I have personally purchased products from. The customer service is quick, thorough, and detailed. They make customer happiness a priority, and as a consumer, it is good to see once and a while. (BTW, not giving this review in exchange for free product)It is definitely worth the purchase.

This little drone is a zippy little drone, it is fun until the drone hits something, BOOM. It breaks fairly easily.

***I have NOT received any products or discounts for my review***Drone-- 4 stars: This is a TOY drone and not a professional photography drone; that is a distinction I like to make clear to start. For the price, however, this is a great buy. It has been fun to fly and very stable and surprisingly fast. The headless mode works well, but occasionally I have lost control of the drone while in headless mode. Control range is about 150', there are times where I wish I had a bit more range. I would recommend buying extra batteries if you want more than 5-7 minutes of flight time. Camera picture and video quality are more than adequate. The only two problems I have had are the propeller guard has broken twice (which is probably more my fault as a novice) and one of the motors temporarily stopped working. After opening up the drone, I noted a wire had come loose; a quick solder, and it was back as good as new. Overall, 4 stars because I have had some problems with it, but for the price it works well and is fun to fly around.Customer service-- 5 stars: The customer service at Holy Stone has impressed me. As I mentioned earlier, I broke the propeller guard and emailed the customer service representative because I could not find a replacement on Amazon. They were fast to reply and offered to ship me a replacement from the factory. I really appreciated them helping me quickly, easily and standing by their product.

Everything came packaged nicely. One of the rotors broke on the first test flight. When putting the batteries into the control at first they did not connect properly and the remote would not turn on. Now the drone doesn't want to lift up and lists to one side. Did not have a chance to test out video since as of now drone won't fly. Maybe needs to be recalibrated. Love the lights on it. Somewhat disappointing but will try again to see if it can fly.
