I am a strong believer in the benefits of micro needling. Whenever I notice some wrinkles creeping in on my forehead, I use this and it works wonders. Very important to use this with the proper products. I recommend a peptide serum for preventing wrinkles. I also use Andalou Naturals Goji Peptide Perfecting Cream because it is incredibly nurturing and renewing after the needles have made your skin feel like it has an awful sunburn! I also occasionally use this with a prescription strength tretinion (retin-A) to help with acne prevention. I have also used micro needling long term to help get rid of my acne scars. I had some very deep scarring cystic acne as a teenager and the scars do NOT go away easily. I fought most of my early twenties to get rid of these scars and I owe it largely to long-term consistent use of micro needling. Use it a couple times a week and find the right serum and lotion to go with it and you will NOT regret it. Also remember though, that beauty is pain! This isn't THAT painful in my opinion-- it is just little pin pricks-- but all the same, it's not pleasant either. If you want to reap the benefits, you have to be willing to put up with a little bit of discomfort!

This is a .25 mm dermaroller that does exactly what it's supposed to do. It has a great case that I love to store it in and it has a perfect well for the main wheel that makes sanitizing it perfect. I put a little rubbing alcohol in the well, dip the roller in it, and it is sanitized.I love that the handle has a little thumb guard on it to make it easier for you to move it in deliberate straight lines. It forces your hand to stay still, which is a feature I have not seen in many other rollers.As for whether or not dermarollers work, I can say after being skeptical they DO in fact make a difference. Even with the tiny .25 I can see a huge difference in the size of my pores, this needle size is supposed to just be for product absorption but I can see a difference.I use this roller three times a week, and I follow it up with my retinol serum (safe for use with the .25 mm needle) and a sheet mask at night before bed. When I first started using this I would only use it once a week, and then built myself up. My advice it to go slow and be patient. Be cautious about what you are using after a rolling session and plan for what you are going to use.Overall YES I recommend this product, and I might get the .50 needle of the this one day, but so far I am getting good results with the .25.

Got the .25 mm today and used it for the first time, figured I would write a review based on my first impression and update it later if it floors me or not. It is quite easy to use and there was no pain at all using it, granted i wasn't like pressing hard on my face. I used Ole Henriksen Vitamin C serum along with it. Well, I did the whole face and it was just a bit flushed. Now it is a tiny bit tingly/stinging on the tops of my cheeks and eyebrow area and am still a bit pink. BUT I did follow it with a bee sting mask, sooo that could be it haha. The mask never stung before though. I also put a snail mask and sprayed some Caudalie grape water on top and that refreshed my face so well. I will update in a week or two. But i think it should work wonders. I am getting a hylarounic acid serum to use instead of or along with the vitamin C one because it is much gentler on the face. I am hoping it'll help with the hyperpigmentation I have on my face and antiaging. Will order the .5mm one though since this small apparently doesn't do that.

It's still in question on the efficacy of this. The roller was sealed a few times over. I used it twice. First time stung for a bit but it went away a little after putting moisturizer on afterwards. A few days later, I used it again and it didn't hurt as much as it did before. I went without makeup the next day because I felt comfortable without it. Not sure if it's because of less harsh weather or I was having a decent day or because the roller was starting to work its 'magic'.The one I received creaked whenever i used it. I had to get a refund . I might get one with a bigger needle and a different brand but overall, the procedure makes sense. I would need to use it a longer time before judging it harshly.

I held off writing a review because I was skeptical at first and I received 3 emails in 2 days from the seller hounding me to write a product review. I found that extremely annoying. Back to the product. I've been using it for 2 months now and can see a huge difference in my skin. The micro needles don't hurt at all and with the right amount of pressure actually feel like a mini facial massage which tingles a bit. I take very good care of my skin. This item (I'm not exactly sure what they're called) is a regular in my skin care routine. The first time I used it on my face, neck and chest, it opened up all of my pores so much that the skin on those areas literally started sweating out the toxins. I know the use of this item caused it because I've never had a reaction like that to anything I've used on my face, neck or chest. I followed the instructions, applied my skincare products after using this on aforementioned areas. My skin QUICKLY (like as in a sponge quickly) absorbed my May Coop Raw Sauce I use after toner and before serum, serum, moisturizer and eye cream. I could feel the products start working immediately. My skin tingled, not in an unpleasant way, for awhile afterwards, my skin glowed, felt firmer and was as soft as a baby's bottom. I continue to use this item every other day and it has transformed my skin and just makes it all the much better. As I said, I've always taken really good care of my skin, so I don't have lines or wrinkles. The one fine line I had under my left eye is gone and before I used this, I couldn't find a product that delivered on its claims of reducing and eliminating fine lines and wrinkles. I highly recommend this item to skincare enthusiasts. It addresses every skin concern one can have. You will definitely see an improvement in clarity, size of pores, firmness from collagen cell renewal and fine lines and wrinkles if you have them.
