Lewis N. Clark Packable Daypack, Hiking Camping Backpack, Ditty Bag, Blue/Neon, One Size

This is a great little bag if you need something lightweight and packable. I have arthritis and often find it easier to carry things on my back than in a purse. Because this bag packs into such a small stuff bag, I am able to carry it in my purse until I need it then pop it out and put my purse in the backpack. I also used it as my carryon and primary bag during a 9-day trip to New York City. We went to a couple of places that did not allow backpacks and it was simple to put everything in my purse and stuff the backpack into its bag. It handled the wear and tear beautifully and is so lightweight I hardly noticed I was carrying it. The straps have a nice texture on the underside to keep them from sliding off.Things to know before buying:-not waterproof-slightly transparent-no structure or paddingI find the weight and packability make up for these possible issues, especially the lack of padding since padding adds weight.

I saw a lady wearing this pack in Santa Barbara who said she purchased it for an overseas trip; which is exactly what I was about to embark on with my family.I put these in as stocking stuffers for all of us last Christmas (2017). My husband and son have yet to use theirs. I’ve used mine constantly over the past year.It was really handy while traveling as a nice light weight, low profile daypack. It’s also great at the beach and it’s packability is really handy when an additional bag is needed on the fly.I do wish the stuff sack were more integrated into the design of the pack however. I’m always nervous I’m going to misplace it.Over the past year of heavy use, this little pack has held up well. Definitely a good purchase.

This item is a gift. I don't know at this time how durable it is. The packpack comes in a compact drawstring pouch. I hope it will be fairly easy to return the packpack to the pouch. It will be very easy to store for traveling.

I needed a small backpack for day trips into the city. Something to hold my water bottle and a snack and have my hands free! It’s very light and compact- you can crumple it into a little pouch and hide it in your back pocket! The shoulder straps are pretty wide and comfortable. It’s big enough to store my jacket but I wouldn’t recommend it if you need to carry something really heavy. Because it’s so light the material that it’s made of is not super sturdy. Great price too. Overall I really like it and I’m completely satisfied!

I had an old one of the backpacks that is still going after about 5 years of over use. One strap is coming undone. So I ordered a new one. The new one (this item) is a bit heavier material and I was excited it would last a long time. It didn't I took iron a trip to Hawaii and used it as my beach bag. In the pack I carried a sari, a small book, a bottle of water, sunglasses, my snorkel and goggles and sunscreen. The seem on the bottom of the pack ripped on the 7th day. So it didn't make it through the whole vacation.Super disappointing as I was expecting this item to be the same quality (or better given the slightly heavier material) than my 5 year old version. This wasn't worth the money. And I deeply dislike having to toss it in the trash after such little use.I give it a one star for being light weight.

I didn't think I would like this item, and mentally cursed at having made another impulsive Amazon purchase. But I could not have been more wrong -- I used this every day of my recent vacation. Snappy blue and very lightweight, it still could hold a day's worth of necessities. It curls up into the cutest little self-packaging. The material is not waterproof, but it is water resistant. Someone else commented admiringly on the pack after several days .It's definitely a purchase that I would recommend to anyone. The price is shockingly reasonable. It looks more expensive than it is. Thinking of giving these as gifts this year......

Love the concept - love the shape and fabric. BUT, the bottom wore holes after the 2nd use and it was not full with heavy items and it was never set down anywhere! No excuse for the bottom wearing out after day hikes - 2 uses! The idea is great but the fabric they are using makes it a useless piece. Our money was wasted on this item. Extremely disappointed and wish it could be returned.

This is my second Lewis N Clark Backpack. The first lasted until my wife left it on a train headed to Northern Germany. It had been my favorite packable pack for several years. It is durable and very light. It has non slip straps and plenty of room for whatever you want to carry. I used to stick in my pocket and go grocery shopping and stuff it full and walk back to my hotel. I recommend it highly.

Perfect for what I wanted

A bit flimsy but I guess that is why it is light. I have not tried to use it on trips yet but I am sure it will be a nice second backpack to take along as it occupies minimal space.
