They loved the extra resources that the book gives to use ...
I volunteer for our schools Project Cornerstone and I bought and read this book for the Kindergarten class. It was a HIT! They loved the extra resources that the book gives to use including a video of the story (great animation), quizzes on the skills learned. It was very relatable and at their level. Great to start conversation on feeling angry and a proper way to communicate and handle those feelings. The whole series is a MUST!

Teacher Review
This a story about how to control and redirect your anger. The brief story line gives you the point of the story. I think that my kids 1/2 graders will get the gist and enjoy the story. The book even has questions and discussion on anger on the last two pages, which I added on my review.

One of my favorites! Very effective and fun!
One of my favorite books to use when I work with elementary aged children in Philadelphia. I am a school counselor. The children can really relate to HOWARD! It helps to teach them without being preachy.

Helpful
I enjoy all of the Howard B. Wigglebottom books with the exception of the one on bullying. This book is helpful in that it lets the reader know that one does not need to fight and that it is okay to back away. The pictures are great and colorful. It keeps the interest of the reader.

Great book about anger management
This is our favorite so far of the Howard B. Wigglebottom series. I feel that it really offers good suggestions on how to handle anger while also making it clear that everyone gets angry sometimes. We have read other books about anger that I felt were too preachy or difficult to understand for smaller children. This one was perfect for little kids, but still offering solutions that they can understand and use.
