This unit has been working great since installed it almost a year ago. It is easy to install and program and I've had no problems with it. I'm running it at about 90% capacity and have not issues with overheating or failures. I like that it is digital and I can see the screen at night. It was a good buy.

I installed this in my garage and use it to control my outdoor lighting. It was easy to set up and after 4 months, I have had no issues. I don't think I would install this unit outdoors.

I bought one in 2017 and it died this week. As an electrical engineer, I opened it up and noted there is an undersized thermistor in line with the primary side of the transformer. I found at least 1 other note that this NTC thermistor burned up on Amazon. Today, a power supply is not rocket science and it's amazing that there is such a high failure rate and no notice from the manufacture about it. Since the thermistor in mine is burnt to a crisp, I can't tell what resistance it is and therefore am not sure what to get at the local parts store.. I may just put an in-line fuse to see if it will work, the primary side of the transformer is not shorted and being it's on the primary side, I can only imagine it was there to protect the primary coil from inrush current and hence 1-5 ohms. Of course there is no schematic or any type of parts list available anywhere. Poor basic design albeit its in a nice case and the timer is well thought out.

Very easy to set up. I like the feature of visually knowing how much wattage is being used by the lights. The sunset feature didn’t work as expected but the timer is fine. Good product.

I have this transformer powering 14 landscape lights in my backyard and its working well! The controller function is easy to use and set in photocell mode. I also found the transformer easy to install on the side of my house and wire terminals are in a good spot. My only complaint is the photocell is a little too sensitive because the lights turn on in the afternoon on cloudy days.

Setting the timer was confusing. Still not sure if I did it correctly. But it does go on at dark and when I checked on the lights during the night they were off. Guess I set the time correctly.

I use the combination of light sensor to turn on and timer off and it's worked great like clock work. It's got enough power to light up my entire back yard with almost 30 LED lights. Installs in a flash and hooking it up is a breeze.

This transformer is a nice heavy duty product that was easy to install and it was at a great price
