This product seems to have more of a lotion consistency than a cream. It seemed to contribute to breakouts on the nose/cheeks so we no longer use it on the face as a moisturizer. We find that it doesn't sting around the eye opening so we gently dab it around the lids and wipe with a damp microfiber washcloth to remove makeup. The cloth alone removes 95% of makeup so we just add this product to get that last little bit off and to leave some moisture on the lid. If some accidentally gets in the eye there's no burning sensation. I have noticed a tiny, light colored (almost white) bump on each eyelid. These could be "milia" which are no big deal. I don't know that this product would have caused them, I just thought I should share my experience in case it happens to others.

I have been using Kalaya Moisture Cream for several years now and I wouldn't be without it. Sorry Amazon, I just discovered you sell it so you will be my new source for my Kalaya products now. You have much faster shipping than my current source.. This cream works so much better than many of the high priced creams out in the market right now. I am seventy-six years old and my routine is, wash my face and neck with Dove Beauty Moisture Bar. Rinse well, pat dry and apply a small bit of Kalaya Moisture Cream on my freshly washed skin. I even use tiny dots of the cream under my eyes. It is fantastic! This cream does not leave your face all shinny and greasy looking after you use it. It soaks right into your skin quickly. The best part of it is, you will start seeing yourself with great skin, no pores and a healthy glow. This is the magic potion you've been looking for. It was developed by a doctor and pharmacist. I love the way my skin feels and looks now!

I have strong sensitivities and have to be careful what products I use, and very dry hands with all of the hand washing. I came across this when purchasing another item from the same company, and am so glad I tried it! The only cream I have found that doesn't irritate my hands and actually works for repairing dry skin. Noticed results instantly, and have referred this to many people since. Highly recommend!

[Edit: The ingredients seemed to have changed. I can not give the item a 5 star review anymore knowing the ingredients do aggravate my eczema. Some people have an allergy to aloe vera and Kalaya should sparsely use them in their products directed to consumers with eczema. I have eczema and I have tried multiple aloe vera products and one thing I noticed is my eczema never heals with aloe vera. Hopefully Kalaya creates another facial moisturizer that does not use aloe vera since it is a hit or miss with healing eczema.] As someone who struggled with eczema throughout their entire life I recommend this product. Usually face creams make my face flaky and Kalaya is one of the few face creams were it:-doesn't cause outbreaks-moisturizes quite well-doesn't irritate the skin so the skin can healMy daily routine consists of:-Kalaya Natural Moisture CreamHonestly one of the few creams that help my skin heal (combined with other items) by not causing any irritants such as eczema flare-ups and over-drying the skin.-Rosewater and Glycerin-Rosehip OilI mix these together and it gets rid of flaky dry skin and promotes healthy skin.

I'm sensitive to to perfumes. Used the previous formula for a few years that had a very light scent and was perfect . Now this new formula has a very strong vanilla stench to it. Had to wash it off after 10 minutes as the smell was making me nauseous. Total crap now for anyone who is fragrance sensitive. Kalaya should have never changed it. They really dropped the ball on this one!

This moisturizing cream is great; you can feel it as soon as you apply it on your skin. I've used this as a tattoo after-care moisturizing lotion and it really sped up the healing process. I also found that using this cream as it was meant to (as a face moisturizer) was just perfect; it didn't clog my pores and I really felt my skin getting much smoother. A little pricey, but all good skin care products are..! Read the ingredients: you can't go wrong with this. Otherwise, you are not sure what you are getting and might cause more damage than good..!
