-rope broke, tree limb crushed my Stihl MS180C, breaking the handle,... next day this arrived from Amazon, fit perfect, just pryed out rubber grommet plastic covers, pushed in rubber grommets (YouTube for illustation), this fit fine, 20 minute job, i put some silicon on the rubber grommets to help them slide back in... and was priced well,.. comes with handle and both sides of trigger handle-edit, skip the silicon, the handle wants to slide around while you're cutting, now i gotta take it apart and wipe off that silicon, maybe use a spray oil that will dry, or nothing at all

I should have watched the YouTube video on ms180 handle replacement first. There are three rubber grommets that hold the handle on. Remove the front cover on each of them but do not remove the grommet. Use a small flat tip screwdriver or slim and narrow door panel tool and push the side of the grommet inward as you gently pull the handle outward. It's easier if you watch the YouTube video. I would have finished the job an hour early if I had not removed all those grommets.The New handle is great. Same size and good material.

Took less than 10 minutes to install. Perfect fit

Great fit, it took a little time to replace.There were no installation instructions for the 180cI have listed a few things that I had to be removed.Remove the following ,top air filter cover, chain and bar, air box and carburetor, left hand side cover, and fuel tank. Remove 4 each engine screws from bottom. Engine just has to be loose, not removed. Be careful not to damage air bellow. Remove hard plastic from old rubber handle mounts and save.

Item arrived broken right out of the box. Poor quality plastic and nowhere near as good as original. My opinion is that it would nit last long. Returned and ordering from Stihl.

It works but is very flimsy and made cheap. It might hold up we will see. Stihl ms170

This replacement handle shipped out lightning fast and is a great fit. I selected it because it came with the 3 rubber insulator mounts needed to install it. Anyone who’s replaced Stihl saw handles knows the struggle with removing and installing those rubber insulators. You’re likely to destroy one or all three; a little Dawn dish soap helps with getting them in. But I’d absolutely recommend getting a set like this one that includes them. The handle is sturdy and you can’t tell any difference from the original.
