Child therapist here! Just wow! My inner child is overjoyed with this beautiful doll. I cannot wait to bring this babydoll into my play therapy collection for other children to experience and play with. I ordered a knitted outfit to go with, just not here yet. I cannot wait to expand the collection and purchase another babydoll. So glad I ended up ordering this little doll for my son. Came as pictured, packaged in an official Miniland plastic bag, stored within a larger cardboard Amazon box. From some of the other reviews I was concerned maybe it would come without the underwear or be too orange or smell too strongly as some of the other reviews suggested, but it is perfect. I noticed that the more negative reviews for this product were from a few years ago so it seems as though the manufacturers have since fixed the issues. The “private parts” for the doll are discreet and perfect for what I was wanting for my child-something that is anatomically correct and good for education, but not trying to be something more than it needs to be, if you know what I mean. I will say the doll is a bit smaller than I imagined it, but honestly it is great for young children to hold and carry. I might consider going for the 15” if you are looking for an older child. I also wanted to include a visual of the skin tone of the doll vs real child because some people were saying the doll looks a bit orange. It’s not true to real skin tone but it’s not overly orange for a doll. It looks very nice. Overall great buy and I would absolutely consider ordering more dolls through this company in the future.

FINALLY - a really nice asian boy doll for my great niece. This will pair with the asian Jilly girl doll. It is so difficult to find dolls of different nationalities that actually physically look like their origins. This is so good for growing children to see that all people are different, AND that they have real body parts ! Unfortunately, the prices for these nice dolls are quite expensive for a senior on social security but was worth to save up for. I never had dolls as a child so I am having so much fun making the clothes!

Was very heavy and smaller than expected

Such a cute doll! I gifted her to my two year old for her birthday and she loves her!!! The material is great quality, a nice soft rubber. She is slightly smaller than the bitty baby which I think is suited better to my 2 year old. One feature I love is that the baby can go in the bath! My girls were so excited! The anatomical parts are discreet, but educational. I took off one star because she is definitely on the orange side, but my girls don’t seem to mind at all. Overall very happy with this purchase:)

As an elementary school teacher for more than 30 years, I knew that my preschool age grandson would benefit from having this doll. Research shows that this age group is proud of all of his body parts. The doll is anatomically correct in just the right ways to allow him to relate to it. It had a very slight, subtle scent when first taken out of the package, but I just wiped it with a damp cloth and set it on a counter overnight, and it's fine now. My grandson took to the doll immediately and plays, reads, or does something with his new friend everyday.

Nice doll but very small and stiff/ hard and didn’t come with clothing which made it expensive overall. My daughter likes it a lot and plays with her daily but check out the lullababy brand on Amazon instead as they are more affordable, bigger in size and higher quality with better and more affordable clothing and accessory options.
