A lot of money to spend on a toy whose fun only lasts for about 12 hours
My daughter played lots with this at first, then when she got through all the levels, she was done with it. Done. She played with it no more. That's a lot of money to spend on a toy that only lasts for about 12 hours.

Toy has bad behavior!
My daughter received this as a gift from her grandmother. It was awful. The character is mean, spoiled, and entitled. The final straw came when my daughter came out of her bedroom crying and asked me to play with it so the character wouldn't be mad at her! Apparently, the pixel chick says rude things if she is not constantly played with. Gave it to Goodwill so the character can be someone else's problem. Daughter much happier.

37 year old Mom and I like unique toys.
OK, I'm lame and I admit it..I love electronics and cool toys I first saw Pixel Chix in August, and decided to purchase it. Yes, I did think it was expensive. I do enjoy playing with it. I have also 'caught' my 7 year old son playing with it in his room...he thinks there should be a Pixel Boy. He likes it. My 4 year old niece likes to play with it also! During the holiday season, they've been on sale for(...)which seems to be more reasonable. For Christmas I have asked for the other two houses. I hope Santa gets them for me :)

Fun game!
Recently I am hooked with The Sim pc game, when i saw this pixel chix, i bought it for my 5 years old daughter, she loves it so much. So am I, even this is the kid version The Sim game. Very very fun game to play with. What I worried the most is it's look fragile and I hope my daughter won't drop it anytime, because I believe it will be broken for a single drop. Hey, it's not cheap after all!

Great Idea but too many problems
My 6 year old got this for Christmas and she loves it - or I should say loved it. So much that when the screen went black and the Pixel Chick died suddenly, it caused a great deal of upset and tears. I returned it to the store and exchanged for another one. I checked it out in the store but by the time I got back to the car, this one had the fatal black screen sickness too! I was very disappointed and sad for my little girl who loved her Pixel Chick so dearly. This is a great toy and a fabulous idea for the younger set but with so many problems it makes me wonder if they released it too quickly without working out the glitches.
