Update, one year after purchase: Unfortunately, the black paint on this hook has faded uniformly to a medium gray. Our Mediterranean climate is not harsh. This makes the hook look disappointingly old and dingy.My original review: Not surprisingly, this is an EXCEPTIONALLY STURDY, IRON HANGER FOR HEAVY DUTY DOODADS, Elegant Hook/Bracket for Hanging Wind Chimes, Plants, Wind Spinners, & Bird Feeders, Great for Easy Enhancements to Indoor & Outdoor Décor. I like how UpBlend helps us out with examples of how to use a hook. They also send a creative set of instructions.The hook is solid and the design is a nice change from straight-line brackets. It works perfectly to support a large birdhouse. One small disappointment that should certainly not dissuade you from buying: The hook comes with two thick, heavy screws that should support almost any reasonable weight. But they're unpainted metal, not black to match the hook. And they were a bit too big to allow the heads to fit well into the recessed holes in the bracket. Otherwise we're very happy with the hook, and look forward to buying again from this company.

Very sturdy and attractive hanger. I hung a wind chime on it that weighs at least 6 or more pounds and it holds it very nicely. The hardest part was drilling the holes in the brick to hang it! Added picture for question about diameter.

A great plant holder. It is heavy and well made. It seems like it will hold a lot of weight. I bought one to hang a hummingbird feeder on to the side end my deck. The Hummers loved it as much as me. I wanted one to match for the other side. So I bought another one. Just as great as the first one. Most of my feeders are on Sheperds hooks or birdfeeder stations. There was so much fussing between the Hummers when I had 4 feeders on the Birdfeeder station, I had to do something. Hanging them on oppisite sides of the deck on these hangers and putting them on Shepard's hooks have worked great. I recommend this great value and well made hanger.

Love the design, very substantial product and great value. I ordered two of them to handsome planters for a client but when I hung the planters, I realized they were crooked. I finally figured out the hooks were slightly different and one was set 1/4 inch lower than the other.After removing and raising that entire hook 1/4 inch up the wall, it was OK but then began to droop. The other hook was fine and the planters are no more than 100 lbs total, 50 lbs for each hook.I then got a strong friend to bend it so they were even because I didn't want to put a third set of holes in my client's wall. Once again, that hooks it drooping. I am only buying another one so they match and crossing my fingers that it doesn't start deforming. It's getting embarrassing, annoying and frustrating.

I hang a bird feeder from this and it is way too close to the tree. Squirrels can easily reach the food. It would need to be at least 6" farther away from the mounting area for it to work as a place to hang a bird feeder. Even used it for the hummingbird feeder. Now I think my squirrels will get diabetes. Could use for a plant I suppose. A small plant, as it sits way, way, way too close to the tree/wall where it is connected. Poor design.

I really love these hooks. In fact, I bought 2 of them! I have an unusually heavy set of wind chimes that I needed something sturdy to hang them from and these will do the trick. Thanks so much for a great product and I will be sure to order more when needed.

This matched up to our existing plant hanger perfectly. It is extremely sturdy with a great sense of function and style. Installation is easy, provided you have the correct screw gun.

Was a gift for my son who wears hearing aid in both ears. He was so delighted with the beautiful tone of the wind chime!
