Effective Fly Trap - Stinky, But Effective
The BugBane Outdoor Fly Traps are an effective tool to capture flies and keep your backyard pest-free. The traps are easy to use - simply fill the trap up to the fill line and hang up in a bright space. It took less than half an hour for the trap to start luring in flies. There is a cone opening at the top that encourages flies to walk down, and once inside the bag, very few are smart enough to turn and walk back out. The flies, once trapped, will eventually fall into the water and sink, effectively removing them from your backyard. It was fairly horrifying how many flies I caught within a single afternoon. Since then, I've let the trap outside and day after day I keep seeing a layer of flies gather at the top of the bag before sinking down, allowing for the next batch to go in. The trap can be hung for as long as the bait inside stays liquid. It's silent, doesn't require any energy, and once your trap is full, you can push the blue cone down and dispose the entire trap in your trash. The only complaint about this trap is that it does smell. It's not quite as smelly as other similar fly traps, but I would still avoid hanging it in an area where youd sit downwind from because it's a pretty noxious scent. Overall, it's a great tool in reducing the number of flies in your yard, and with four traps, you can easily keep a lot of flies at bay.

Works but very smelly
These things work. Hands down, they catch an f ton of flies. The one thing nobody mentions is how foul they smell when they fill up. Holy Mary mother of God it is disgusting.

Effective but smelly trap.
Boy. This definitely attracts flies. In a week the thing was half way full. And it's a big bag so it's hundreds of flies trapped inside already. I imagine it could take over a thousand easily. It does take a few days to activate fully but should start working from day 1. It smells like garbage though. I mean actual wet rotten garbage. So definitely don't put it somewhere where you don't want to deal with that kind of smell. Make sure you read the instructions carefully. It's very easy to destroy the trap if you cut it incorrectly.

Fantastic Trap
Our family spends as much time as possible outside, huge backyard with our outdoor kitchen/patio area. Flies can absolutely ruin any activity, I've tried dozens of DIY tactics, pennies in a bag of water, dragonfly decoys, you name it. I finally bought these traps and let me tell you these suckers work extremely well. First 24 hours it trapped no less than 80-90 flies. Day 2 and I couldn't even see the surface of the bait water. I fired up the grill and didn't have the hoards of flies like normal. Maybe 4 or 5 flew by while I grilled. Day 5 the wife asked me to move it farther from the patio due to the smell . I'll let it hang until she forces me to toss it and hang up a new one. Get the 4 pack because you will want more than one.
