A very nice monitor that is bright and clear for a good price. Can be powered by the provided battery or by a twelve volt adapter. Note that if you have a Sony A7RII camera like I do, the mini HDMI cable included does not work -- you need a micro HDMI cable. My only complaint with this unit is that the HDMI cable "lock bracket" really does not work (it screws in but does not appreciably tighten the bracket). That said, I don't really need the cable locking feature so there's no issue.

Good Video Monitor
A good video monitor to help you view the image, to use the monitor crop guides (which you can choose which percentage to us), great for focusing as well. Easy to use just plug and play. It allows me to use it at the same time as my camera LED Monitor. The only two complaints I have is that the colors and contrast on the monitor can be customized but it never gets to be the same as the camera led screen, the colors are not as sharp an accurate as the in camera LED Monitor as well as the contrast, so I calibrate using my camera LED Monitor first (white balance and density) then use the monitor to continue the shoot. Easier to shoot thru the monitor because I can clamp the monitor to my eye level plus the image is way bigger than the camera LED Monitor. The second complaint is that the arm that comes with the monitors will not hold the monitor in place( too weak on the joints so it keeps moving out of position), I then purchased another Small Rig in Amazon that worked great, here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/SmallRig-Ballhead-Multi-function-Adapter-Ronin-M/dp/B00DJ5XH4O/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8Also I purchased another HDMI Cable because my camera has a full size HDMI connector and the one included does not work with it( small to large HDMI), here is the link to the HDMI Cable I purchased from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074CPDYJ4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6My Camera is the Sony PXW Z150, here is the Amazon link to the Camera: https://www.amazon.com/PXW-Z150-Camcorder-Carrying-Microfiber-Cleaning/dp/B078WY3QJY/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1523910556&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=sony+pxw-z150&psc=1The battery that comes with it lasts around 2 hrs. So I recommend buying a few extras or even better a higher capacity battery.

Great monitor for camcorders but with quality drawbacks
Having issues being able to see the video my Canon VIXIA HF G21 was recording, I decided to purchase this monitor. With over twice the screen size of the camcorder’s LCD screen (7” vs 3”), and with 1920x1200 resolution, this monitor gets the job done. The picture is amazing and allows me to be able to see details that I would have otherwise missed during taping of high school football games. Before purchasing this monitor, I would have to squint and try to make out plays that were happening on that small, grainy LCD screen that the camcorder has. Now, I can see everything with much more clarity and with the sunshade that comes with the monitor, it helps to cut down on the glare and washout that the sun can cause. I can’t say enough good things about the picture quality of this monitor. With that said, it does have some drawbacks. 1) Build quality of the monitor housing is poor. I get that you want a monitor that does not weigh much (when you’re using a shoe mount to hold this monitor, you want something with as little weight as possible) and plastic is how this can be achieved without significant cost increase. But it could still be built a little better so it does not feel like something from a dollar store.2) The buttons on this monitor is sub-par. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the feel on these buttons lack any confidence that this monitor will last. Pressing them causes a very loud and “uncomfortable” click. I will be interested to see how long these buttons will last. Based on this alone, I almost decided to return it, but I will give it a chance.3) I purchased the monitor in the package with battery, charger, and “magic mount”. While the mount feels somewhat solid, it is not very versatile in my opinion and I am confused as to the benefit this item provides. I don’t use a bracket with multiple shoe mounts (I use only the one regular sized shoe mount on my camcorder) and while you can rearrange the configuration of this mount, it does not have significant range of motion to “get it out of the way”, which is the only reason why I would think this type of mount would be included. I use the simple, single shoe mount that is also included. This mount does hold the monitor in place pretty well, but it does feel like there is still some “play” (easy to rotate the monitor) in the mount...and at times I feel that the monitor is not snug. But so far, it has not fallen off or unexpectedly rotated. All in all, this monitor is decent. It has a great picture, but the build quality is lacking. While it is a lower cost monitor, for the almost two bills I spent on this, I would expect a touch more quality. However, if you are looking for a lower cost monitor that can get the job done, and you can get past the buttons, this will work out great for you.

Fine quality, prompt shipping
Fine quality, prompt shipping.I ran a professional color calibration on this device, and right out of the box color was well within tolerance, so close that I didn't bother to adjust it.

Good Purchase
Good quality monitor. Nice picture and easy hook up. The plug wire attachment though just gets in the way. It may be good for added support so the wire doesn't droop but I don't use it. Comes with everything glad I bought it could use another wire connector with a HDMI micro usb and macro or mini usb to hook up GoPros and cellphones. Cant get my Canon to work on it but all my other cameras work great.

Works Great!
Adds focus peaking to cameras that don't have it (canon 7d). Worked well on my Black Magic Pocket which I bought it for. Only Con is the support arm isn't strong enough to hold it in place and had to order a separate stronger one.

Should be a 5.5 Star Product but one flaw makes it 4.5
This is All Time All Time.. I love the Picture.. Love the Side.. Hate the Way its not 100% Secure on top of came.. Tends to get loose but its so nice its worth that little flaw.. This is my secret piece.. I would easily give it a 5.5 Stars if not for security flaw

Great picture! Hood looks professional and works great in sunlight. Extension arm not very stable and I do not like that my camera feed does not fill the screen without zooming out.

Non lo posso consigliare
Per il prezzo ho visto di meglio, funziona come deve ma peccato che i materiali che sono stati usati non sono buoni e anche la batteria che é stata mandata con il monitor non funzionava. Sono stato deluso... Peccato
