is this sensor compatible with 4 wire adt system

Is the loop closed upon power up, or does it require subsequent motion after power up? If it is closed upon power up, how long is the timeout period?

will the sensor detect motion like paper falling off a table or counter top? and if it does is there a seconds delay or time it reads motion?
