its only solvent (smells like it) ad has no repulsive effect on cats

Good idea.
The idea is good but it wasn't as effective as I had hoped for my pup she liked to chew electrical cables so I painted this on but it didn't really stop her unfortunately.

Didn't work. Actually made my cat chew even more.

Works as advertised!
Works a treat! I have sprayed this on all our electrical appliance cords & the chewing stopped immediately. We have put this on shoes (a puppy favorite!) couches and the chewing stops immediately. Also - a useful tip: If accidentally get any of this in your mouth (easy to do when you have sprayed the cushions on the couch) & can't get rid of the bitter taste - rinse your mouth with an alcohol containing mouthwash, this seems to be the only thing that gets rid f the taste quickly.
