Big benefits in a short time / Highly recommend to anyone who wants to treat their body well
I have been taking Nia dance and yoga classes for 20 years. Both have strengthened and helped my body. I still have regular pain, especially in the neck, hips and knees. Some of this is hereditary and some from over working my body and lots of driving. Having three kids adds stress, car trips and less exercise time. In my late 40s, I know if you don't use it, you lose it. So, long story short, I love this DVD. The exercises are strengthening, but gentle. I'd say she uses an economy of movements to get a lot of benefit in a short amount of time (30 minutes a session). The key is to use the routines regularly. She says daily, and I do them 4-5 times a week, along with yoga and dance. My knees and hips feel stronger and in much less pain. My posture feels better. When my neck and shoulders hurt, I can stop and do a couple of her stretches from memory (doing the routines over and over build muscle memory), and I feel much better. I feel that her exercises really help hard to reach places. The movements flow together and seem to free up not just the major joints and muscles, but all the little places in between. She is cheerful and encouraging. If If I don't need to hear the instructions, I just watch, with the sound down, and play my own music. This can make it more enjoyable to do daily. My husband saw the improvement in my aches and pains and now uses the pain-relief session for his hips and backs. Definitely worth owning.

Helps with pain.
I started this program/video's in May. I felt a difference immediately after the first day. I am 69 years old and have pain from injuries throughout my body. I get up in pain and do her video first thing. Afterwards I am able to move pain free or with little pain. I have scoliosis and my back is improving. I was an instructor in the past and find the movements easy. I have recommended her videos to friends who have had their back issues improve. She does talk throughout the video which may be a problem for a beginner but stick with it, it will get easier.

worth every penny
I have had this DVD almost a month now. I have used it several times a week, its easy to apply the discipline to start a workout routine because it's not difficult and really feels wonderful. She begins by introducing you to correct standing, bending etc... we did just those exercises the first couple times and practiced them throughout the day. Then she has two 30 min workouts one for posture and the other for pain relief.I have suffered with headaches on the right side of my head and neck for years. I did some of the pain relief workout while having one of my head aches and it helped! I have since used it with knee pain and back pain and when you follow the directions she is right it does help! We do the posture one when not in pain and find it very calming. I feel relaxed but energized if that makes any sense? Some things I don't like, is that you have to watch the damn Llllloooooooonnnnnggggg warnings thing at the beginning of the DVD every time unless you are able to just keep it poised/queued and ready to go. In my house however we have to take the DVD out frequently so each time I restart it the warnings portion needs to play, I can't just fast forward through it to the workout. Extremely annoying for me. Also she will mention some parts of the body where you should feel the stretch and then says something like "everyone knows where that is"Well I don't, so to understand fully and make sure I'm doing it correctly I have to go google that and see where it is. Also when she does some of the side stretches I can't tell if she is keeping her feet facing forward, or turning them just slightly? Once again I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly? Those are the reasons I gave this DVD 4 stars instead of 5

Get this and the companion DVD, they work.
Love, Love, Love this DVD. The pain relief workout is great, I have back and hip issues, this has been a lifesaver. I highly recommend that if you have pain, try this and the other DVD for mobility and strength is excellent as well. In fact, I started with mobility because I was very stiff and moved on to strength, and posture, and do each of those once every three days, and I do the pain relief workout every night before bed. I'm sleeping better, and my pain has gone from a suffering level 8 or 9, down to a manageable 3 or 4. A big improvement, I've been doing mobility and strength for 8 weeks, and posture and pain relief for just two weeks, I am committed to doing these exercises for the rest of my life, they have been an amazing gift for myself and those around me....I'm not so grouchy anymore! Hopefully, in a few more weeks, I will be practically pain free, for a first time in more than 30 years.

Great Stretching Exercise Video
This is a great video for anyone getting back into fitness or has been doing fitness for most of their life. This will warm up you body and get it flexible with a series of stretching exercises so that you are ready to take on that regiment of harder exercises that you have planned for the day. Once you do these stretches, your body will be flexible enough to take on anything that the day brings, plus once flexible your body is better prepared to handle any mishaps that can occur and bounce back from them faster.

This DVD is not only relatively easy to do
This DVD has given me hope that I will again be flexible, robust and able to remain active well into my old age. (Some say I am old now at 62+) I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 25 years ago and have had several back injuries that cause much pain and hindered my working out. This DVD is not only relatively easy to do, it is truly enjoyable and I am seeing - and feeling - great results after doing them for 6 weeks. I highly recommend this!

It will improve your posture
I borrowed this DVD from my local library and realized the positive benefits after doing the posture work out every morning for a week.. I ordered my own copy from Amazon and have continued to do the posture work out daily for the last two months. My physiotherapist confirmed the change in my posture and the new found flexibility in my upper back. It works if you are willing to put in the work.

Good stretch exercise video
My wife really likes this exercise video. A slower pace and better for a little older people but with good "pain relief" results . She borrowed one and then wanted her own so I got it on Amazon for her.
