Tie Interceptor done right
The Star Wars Bandai kits are AMAZING. The fit and finish is excellent, details are peerless and ease of assembly is a sheer joy. The Tie Interceptor is no exception to the Star Wars line of model kits - you won’t be disappointed (except if you screw up the paint job - but that is on you)The model comes with. Base stand that clips onto other Star Wars model kit base stands to create a diorama of the Death Star

A perfect kit
As a 1/35 armor purist, this kit was a wonderful change. Every piece can be press-fit without adhesive (although I used Tamiya's wonderful extra-thin cement to secure all the parts and hide any seams). Flash and mould seams were nonexistant. Literally none whatsoever (I own about 200 kits of various subjects, and the cleanliness of the parts in this kit is unparalleled). The kit is extremely well-engineered and the suface detail is phenomenal. Painting/decals are surprisingly complex; between the canopy, clear roof hatch, and the black wing pieces there's a LOT of masking involved, and the kit provides a few dozen decals (the cabin interior requires quite a few, but I chose to hand-paint the exterior [dark grey] details that decals were provided for). As you probably already know, decals are optional as a sticker sheet that's identical is also provided. The only thing I'd like to see in this kit is a more comprehensive painting guide for the exterior. The instructions only point out colored features that decals are provided for, which I'm assuming are sort of simplified. In other words, there may be more features that shouldnt be painted body color than just those which decals are provided for, but the instructions don't make note of these details. Again, I could be wrong. In any case, this is a DEFINITIVE kit of this ship, and I honestly don't think this kit could be any better.

Awesome kit!
I'm not one to do reviews, but man, Bandai did a fantastic job on this model kit. It doesn't use too many pieces and once you get past the cockpit decals and detailing it really is a short build. The kit comes molded in a light grey, black, clear, and clear green and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. It's really hard to find anything wrong with it, but if I had to find any "negatives', I wish they gave you a standing pilot figure instead of the 2d outline shadow thing they gave you. Also, the attachment for the ship to the base broke in like 2 seconds and I had to glue it back. This is my second ship and I also had this problem on their speeder. Other than that, I added some weathering, paint detailing (red stripes and blue panels) and it looks amazing.Total time from open box to final product was about 4 hours with 2 of those being spent painting the pilot and detailing the interior.

Another Detailed TIE by Bandai
Highly detailed and easy to build this is another great TIE model from Bandai. Perhaps too simple if you want a challenge as a model kit but fits very well for a Star Wars model. As an extra the base detail and size makes it compatible with the 'Death Star Attack Set' so if you don't use the base you have the perfect piece for expanding that diorama .

A great model by Bandai!
Another great Star Wars kit by Bandai. I found this to be on the simpler side of Bandai models and there’s not a lot of paint or decals. Can be build pretty quickly and doesn’t require glue. The paint was pretty easy to match. Highly recommend.

Awesome model, probably find another one sometime.
I love it, the complexity of a regular glue and paint model without all the hassle, slips right together and is fairly easy to get right. the stickers are a little small, and not so easy to place when you don't have good tools, so I pretty much ignored them knowing it was just gonna sit on a shelf. having the little laser blasts is kinda fun too.

This will be the best most easiest kit you’ll ever put together
It doesn’t get any better than this. Not one flaw anywhere. If you want easy, if you want movie accuracy then this is the kit for you. This kit though a lil small has all the detail of the biggest kits. Bandai does it again, another perfect kit
