Linksysby Cisco SGE2010P 48-port Gigabit Switch - PoE

I was the designated "IT guy" while deployed with my CAV unit in Afghanistan when I purchased this product. I have to say it was the most valuable and infallible piece of the network equipment. It was amazing easy to setup and it never crashed on me in 8 months of straight use in a remote area. The heat, dust, and pure size of the network made me believe it was not going to hold up to the test but not once was there an issue. I even trunked 8 lines to two separate switches off of it and never had an issue. All channels held up with no crashes. Amazing Cisco! Thanks for the reliability in hell! I brought it back to my house after deployment and fired it up with no issues after flying to 7 different countries. I will be buying these giga-switches from now on! Great investment.

Great for small business that seeks sophisticated security at small business price. Used to implement WLAN with PoE AP's and multiple vLANs with QOS initiated at switch. If you are looking to configure with Cisco IOS, you dont want this. But GUI will allow full customization. GReat product
