SC320 C Stand

Very high quality, solid, I use the Neewer 150 spot, which is heavy, but this stand works perfectly with it.

Incredibly well built c-stand - but heavy. Allows me to really switch things up on shoots. If I ever folded it up it seems easy to store. It’s giant - can hold pretty much anything. I have a couple holding up several NEEWER cb200/300s. Dead simple to deploy and use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Rock solid. Great product. I'm using it to mount a camera above a table for top down photography/video. The stand and arm are study, not prone to vibration and easy to adjust in all directions. I'm very happy with this product. It's one of those purchases where it more than exceeds what I expected after several false starts (desk mounts, flimsy tripods). I'm sure it will last a very long time. Functionality: Everything performs exactly as you would expect. When the clamps are tightened things stay in place. When they are loosened things are easy to move and adjust. Size: Can be made to be very tall. Not what I need, but I imagine if you had a large light with soft box this would easily position them at every height. Ease of setup: Unfold, extend, adjust angle. Done. Couldn't be simpler.

Its so nicely built. Very sturdy. I have a 120 cm soft box and it holds it very well. Highly recommend.

We needed new light stands that require less ballast to hold them stable with larger lights and modifiers on them. Having one that also quickly swings into a boom is also a nice bonus. These work as expected and are very stable and sturdy. They are anything but light weight. These are steel and quite heavy, but for studio use when I want lights to stay put and will not be moving them often, this fits the need. I may purchase the optional wheels for the stands in the future to improve mobility, but for now it hasn't been an issue.

I have owned a lot of light stands in the past of varying degrees of quality and cost and I really wish I would've started with this one all along. It is SERIOUSLY COMMERCIAL GRADE in materials, quality construction and stability!! I got this to use with a big $1,000 LED video light, and with this I don't have to worry for a second about it falling over or being bumped accidentally. This thing - while NOT light weight is exactly what you want out of a light stand for your studio. It can be portable, sure, but this is more suited to be set up and stay up because it's so big and heavy. I LOVE it! I was having to put weight plates on my cheaper tripod light stands and pray a stuff breeze wouldn't blow them over before. I really wish I would've just bought this one in the first place. I can't recommend highly enough! And yes, I paid full price for it. I hope this helps someone else! Feel free to ask me any questions.

This is a sturdy, well constructed c-stand. It's held up well over a few months of heavy use (and I fully expect it will last for years). Amazing bang for your buck. But there's one catch to be aware of - it uses some heavy duty springs instead of air cushioning. The result of this is that if you have the c-stand fully compressed and then unscrew one of the knobs, that section will spring up a few inches, and pretty quickly too. It almost took out an eye when I first set it up. Just keep a hand on it, and your head out of the way, and you'll be totally fine. I would still choose this over c-stands with no cushioning. Best c-stand I've found in this price range by far.

Excellent. It is heavy. Maybe I should have gotten one with wheels. Regardless, I am pleased with the quality.

Acaba de llegarme y la sensación es que muy sólido y está bien construido, lo cual supongo hace que inevitablemente sea bastante pesado y eso supone ventajas e inconvenientes. Dado su precio creo que es una muy buena opción frente a otros productos similares que cuestan el doble y no sé que ventajas tienen que merezcan la pena. Por cierto que completamente plegado y sin las patas la columna central mide cerca de 130 cm, pero con una llave allen es fácil desmontarla en sus secciones y la más larga mide unos 105 cm, algo que puede ser muy útil para transportarlo en un coche. Eso sí, la vara transversal mide 120 y de ahí no baja.

J'avais besoin d'une structure solide pour filmer en hauteur et le c-stand m'a permis d'avoir une structure solide et stable. Son système de rotule dentelée permet une bonne solidité du bras. Il a vite remplacer le système elgato bras avec rotule qui supporter mal le poid de mon smartphone et du support smartphone.

Dopo anni passati a cercare un prodotto decente che non costasse centinaia di Euro, sono approdato a questo stativo per luci. In acciaio con tubi di ottime dimensioni, sicuramente meno trasportabile in assoluto se paragonato alle cinesate da 30€, ma decisamente affidabile e capace, senza contrappesi, di estendersi sia in altezza che in diagonale, supportando il peso di una testa luce fissa con ombrello softbox da 120cm. Serraggi sulle aste a farfalla impeccabili e sicuri, molla di fine corsa per evitare che l'estensione telescopica ( con tutto il carico ) piombi giù distruggendo tutto, giunti in metallo ( snodi ) con dentellatura ottima in grado di garantire un serraggio in diagonale ( luce e diffusore installato sull'estremità ) fermo, stabile e sicuro. Grande stativo ad un prezzo veramente favoloso. Le zampe, o il treppiedi, anche se pezzo unico, da inserire nell'asta centrale, date le generose, ma non eccessive dimensioni, garantiscono stabilità anche alle massime estensioni orizzantali. Favoloso!!!
