GoSports Ladder Toss Bolo Replacement Set - Kid Safe Soft Rubber or Hard Golf Balls

These are nice, soft bolas just like the ones that we had originally. They're hollow rubber, decent heft, but not as lethal as a weapon for the little ones. So often they are real golf balls, which is fine until you have grouchy grandkids whacking their brothers with them. These are perfect.

I purchased these because the balls that came with our set were very hard, like golf balls and I didn’t want our grandchildren to get hurt. This set is awesome and the balls are soft so if someone got hit in the head, by mistake, they would be OK. They also don’t wrap around the pole 5-6 times like our old set, so they are easy to remove. The ropes are shorter but strong. We are very pleased with this set.

Works fine. Bought as a replacement for a several-years old set that frayed and fell apart. The balls on this set are smaller, yet denser, than our originals. I sort of like our old ones better as these take a little getting used to. That said, they look like they'll hold up for several years.

So far, these are proving to be better that the set I had that came with the ladder ball game. With the original set, sand started escaping the ends within a week. These seem to be better quality and are holding up.

These are basically the same as the factory ones, works well and lets the fun continue

Purchased i2 years ago and strings have detiorated to where they break just by picking them up - stored in the basement.

The teenagers lost one of my bolas. Several months later it fell out of a pine tree, but the rope was ruined. This set is a perfect replacement for the soft type of balls.

Bought a ladder toss game for my husbands birthday from a different supplier - it came with wooden balls. The game was great but I was concerned that the balls could turn into weapons with my grandchildren- so I ordered a set of these soft balls made from rubber which are squeezable and are perfect.

Great for ladderball! Get the rubber ones as they won't crack or break when they hit each other. My ladderball set is metal (home made, out of rebar) so we couldn't use the hard balls. The only downside is that the rope slightly frays on our metal ladders rungs, but that is probably a unique problem.

While I can't yet assess the longer-term durability of these bolo balls, they are exactly what I wanted. Made of soft rubber, they are just the right weight for an effective toss while minimizing risk of injury. I made our ladder out of PVC and you can find instructions online. Recommended for good backyard times with the family.
