Olive Wood Lord's Prayer Cross (18") Hand Made in Bethlehem by Zuluf

This is a very special product. So well made and so unique. Size, design, and the Lord's Prayer engrave is a work of art. Truly I believe this cross deserve ten stars. Esta cruz merece diez estrellas.

I might have misjudged based on the reviews for this. Most of the reviews are for the plain cross. As for the Lord's Prayer cross(18"), the wood is good but it is not crafted properly. The holes they make in the wooden pieces to bind them together with thread are not properly centered. The holes are are at different places and this prevents the cross from aligning flat vertically on the wall.The thread is not properly tied at the bottom, so I received the box full of scattered pieces and it took some time for me to align and tie them together again.

This last fall was my son’s baptism. I search high and low for a gift outside of the standard baptism present. I came across this cross which is now hanging in his room. It is made from Olive Wood by craftsman in Bethlehem. The cross comes as described. Each piece has different character and quality of wood. Some pieces are better than others so I went with a four star review vs. a flawless 5 star review. What I like most about it is that it is not common, but has character to fit in any room of the house.

The cross is beautiful, a nice size, sturdy, and seems perfect until you read the prayer. It should say ""as it is in Heaven" but it says "as it is not in Heaven. This was a communion gift for our grandson and he noticed the error. Amazon was very helpful when they were notified but they couldn't send me a new one because it was from a third party. My grandson is out of the state but I am going to order a new one next month. I will write another review when I get the new cross.

Gave 3 stars because it is nice but is it barely over 12 inches by 8 inches. If that is what constitutes the 20 inches/18 inches they mention it is a bit deceiving. I thought it would be taller.

Knew it was going to be gorgeous, but didn't realize how much. I love the different colors and the size is just perfect for the wall I want to hang it on. If you want something you can admire at anytime and enjoy the uniqueness of it, then this is the cross for you.

This is a beautiful cross. Better than I expected. The only issue is how you have to hang it. It has to go on a hanger above the cross. If you try and hang it so the hanger part doesn't show, the top board leaves a gap with the second board.

The concept and build is not too bad, but it doesn't have the entire Lord's prayer on it and some pieces are not straight across, they are slanted downwards making the cross uneven. If they had gotten this right, it would have been great.
