GonZalo GraCia.32cm Non Stick Crepe Pan Granite Marble Coated Roti Dosa Tawa Pancake Pan for Gas Induction Hob (32 cm)

I was compelled to buy this product as we recently changed our conventional ring hob to this electric ceramic hob. As it's flat glass surfaced hob, we couldn't use continue to use the griddle we had as it has a slightly curved bottom.Having bought a couple of new flat shallow pans and which proved to be unsuitable, we turned to Amazon and bought this one as it mentioned Roti.We were very excited to think we had found just the thing to allow us to enjoy some homemade Rotis. It's not that thick bottomed and yet it seems to take forever to heat up. As a consequence, it takes much longer to make a few rotis than what we had before. Maybe it's the electric hob which isn't powerful enough - either way, there is no chance of burning the rotis. The general tendency is that rotis turn out crispier when done on a low flame whereas they are meant to be softer which you get with a higher flame or heat. Few images are attached to make this read more interesting for you.We were also a bit concerned when we first used it for rotis as it would be used "dry", meaning without any oil as many shallow pans or griddles tend to warp without any fat or moisture in it. We have used it about three or four times now and it has still maintained its flat bottom surface.We'll probably still continue with our search for something which heats up a bit more and also more quickly, but until then this will SERVE us fine.

Stay away from this product, it's simply awful in heat distribution and cleaning. We used 3-4 times and it warped , so we couldn't use it again. Although others have stated it's good for an induction hob, I feel it's not. Wouldn't buy again and seller argued we were not using it correctly, which for a pan that sits on an a hob... Not so difficult!!

This is a well made and weighty pan, but the base just isn’t flat! There is a slight hump in the centre, and consequently the crepe batter pools around the edges, and is very thin in the centre. Burnt middle, and under-cooked edges just aren’t good!

Used on a gas hob. Great for none stick ability, nice shallow edges to help turning / flipping crepes & pancakes, however even though only heated up on lowest heat setting I found the base bellowed up in the center after only 2 pancakes, 3rd one onwards and the batter ran round the edges so was a little thicker there. Tried to move the pan round to spread the heat but still did the same. Still a nice pan though shame this happened.

Makes great pancakes and doesn't stick. Looks great and is easy to clean. I must have used the pan over ten times and the handle is coming loose so will possibly return for another of possible.

I needed a pan with low sides to easily flip Welsh Cakes and it does the job perfectly. Good heat distribution is important for an even cook and this pan did not disappoint.
