Solid, basic, patrol boot
I've waited to write a review for these boots until I'd worn them for almost a year. I purchased these in July of 2020, it is now June of 2021. I work as an conservation LE officer. Last year I was working at a beach park and I wore these boots on the sand, ocean and pavement. They kept my feet pretty cool and were comfortable right out of the package. Over the winter I worked indoor security and walked up to 20 miles a day in them. Off duty I wear them around as they are very comfortable. I haven't noticed any rips or tears. They've held up really well to all the abuse I've given them. That being said I have invested some time into their upkeep. I clean and oil them pretty regularly. (Mink oil and saddle soap do wonders to remove scuffs and scrapes). They do polish, though it's not a perfect shine. The leather is too textured to ever be super shiny. However my supervisor's have always approved the level of shine I can get. When I work outdoors and am tearing them up I'll shine them once a week. When I'm indoors I shine them once a month or so.The leather is very easy to scrape and I wish it was a little more sturdy, but for the price I can't complain much. Overall they've held up well to the abuse I've put them through. They aren't fancy, but with some care and time, they've continued to look good and keep my feet dry and protected, which is all I ask.

Fits perfect, don’t listen to negative reviews.
Alright first things first, these are quality shoes. I never liked under armor before and have always been an Adidas Person. These however are wonderful and have gotten me to look into their other tactical products. The quality is comparable to 511, with a much more affordable price. I wear these almost everyday. They are comfortable from the start, no need to break them in, they DO NOT come used unless you select that option. Therefore that would be your fault. These are not zippered so they’re a little harder to get on with wool socks, but fine with all others. They also look nice, a plus there. These are durable and I haven’t experienced any ripping as others have said. They are true to size, in Timbs and Dr Martens I wear a 7, these fit exactly the same. If you’re looking for a good duty shoe, at a good price, these are it. You won’t regret your purchase.

Taking out the third lace from the top fixed what I hated
I like these boots. They look nice and, so far, feel okay in the snow/ice. However, they're tough to get on and off. If I was still working 12-hour shifts, that would be fine but I have a much more flexible gig now and need to occasionally take my boots off. The act of taking off and putting on these boots is... a process. It's tough! The third lace holes from the top are set so far back that it really pinches down on my ankle and I have to nearly unlace the boots entirely to get them off and on. So, I did unlace them and pull out that lace and then lace past it. Much better! It takes a bit of work to tie them up tight now but it's more comfortable and much easier to take on and off.

Lightweight and comfy!
I was hesitant to buy these because of some of the reviews I read about these being stiff. I wear these for work in a concrete garage. I am super pleased! The first day I wore these to work on an extra long 14 hour shift, I was nervous that they would be uncomfortable. Wow! Was I surprised! They felt like a dream. I was used to wearing the Under Armour Valsetz boot which is very lightweight and comfortable. These are super light and just as comfy. I will add this caveat, however, that I ALWAYS purchase Dr. Scholls Sport insoles and put them in all my shoes because I have a really high arch. The removable Under Armour insole that comes with these boots is thin and not supportive enough for me. But all the reviews that I read about them being stiff, just was NOT the case for me. They were broken-in immediately. No problems at all. Going into cold weather, these are much warmer that the Vasquez that have fabric on top (that finally ripped in holes after two years of constant wear). Overall I think this is a great value and a very LIGHTWEIGHT and COMFORTABLE boot. I will probably get the Valsetz 1.5 boot for summer weather next year. :-)Also they are very water resistant! Have stayed dry in snow and rain.

Great for Women's Feet!
After years of buying men's tactical boots because few manufacturers have boots available in women's sizing, I am HAPPY to say that these boots fit my feet perfectly! So much so, that I was able to wear them right out the box with no added cushions or insoles. No need to break them in, and they were comfortable after moderate to heavy walking and standing on concrete.Great quality, a little stiff at first, but that is to be expected with new boots. The boots are plain black, part nylon and part leather with no stitching. The boots can be polished, as the job requires (although, I clean them with a barely damp cloth, and they look great).I hope that Amazon continues to keep these boots available: Amazon was the only site that I found these boots on..

Love it! *BTW not warehouse material*
I love these! I work at a warehouse moving packages in and out of trailers and I love how light they are. I want to start by saying that if you bought them to work at a warehouse, expect these boots to tear, “why?” Because these are tactical boots and not made for “warehouse” environment. I already knew that buying them so I would not be complaining about how messed up they look lol. They took a while to break into so I advise to buy the foot stretcher thing to speed up the break in. I did it for about a week or so. Now they feel amazing and super comfortable. I believe these would make great law enforcement/security boots and they wouldn’t look as beat up as mine, and I also use my foot as leverage to pick up heavy boxes since I’m short, so I’m honestly not surprised my boots look messed up. But as far as warehouse material? I think is good in my opinion.

Good quality, very comfortable and didn't break the bank!
I don't like that I don't think they make this particular style of boot, as I've searched women's and men's, and only could find sizes too small or too big.I didn't like that this model/version had a "hard toe" other than that good boot!

THE BEST TACTICAL BOOT YET!!!!!
I was sceptical about purchasing this. As I have issues with my arch in my feet and suffer from flat foot, I was hoping that there would be a lot of support in the arch. When I tried them on I couldn’t believe how beautifully they fit. The support in my feet are amazing I would 100% recommend this product to anyone on their feet for long hours I’m enforcement. They are light weight true to size and fit my customized insoles. Amazing shoe. Please buy it

Pretty Good
The shoes are actually a really good fit. They’re comfortable. I work 12 hours shifts. And I don’t feel them on my feet! They do take a long while to break into them the leather is a bit stiff. The only downside is that the shoes are not slip resistant.

Comfortable and lightweight
A little hard to get on at first, had to loosen laces quite a bit.
