Two-wheel style, with four-wheel support. Your beginner rider wants to cruise with the big kids, but not without a little help. Koda is Retrospec’s newest generation of cool-kid bikes. Koda comes in two popular sizes: 12” for new riders 1.5-4 years old and 16” for 3-7 year olds close to ditching those training wheels. Koda is equipped with top-rated safety features for smooth, intuitive riding for beginner cyclists. This sporty bike is perfect for little riders speeding off to the races. Koda’s sturdy steel frame is built to withstand every learning curve. A protected chain guard keeps their legs safe as they pedal off to the next pursuit. Sidewalk whips, park zips, and even some trip-ups along the way are to be expected. Koda’s specially designed frame, adjustable seat and handlebars, and removable training wheels allow the bike to grow with them. Koda is designed for early riders familiarizing themselves with bikes. Balanced training wheels help them find their center as they pedal off to their next adventure. Bright colors, fun streamers, built-in water bottle holders, and more make Koda the coolest kid bike to ever hit the sidewalk. SIZING: Don’t guess your kiddo’s height – growth spurts mean you should take a quick measurement. There will be some overlap so pick the size that gives them the most range to grow. Most kids' bikes are measured by wheel size. You may be tempted to bump them up a size to “grow into”– don’t. It’s better to keep them safe and comfortable than get another few months of growing time on a bike. Ensure sure your child has the motor skills to operate the bike. Retrospec Koda uses coaster brakes (back pedal brakes) for safety, ease, as well as a handbrake to develop braking skills until your child is older and more experienced to ease into handbrakes and gear shifters.

Bad customer service
The bike itself was good, the packaging was good and it was really easy to assemble, my problem was that one of the tires had a bad inner tube, I tried to contact the seller directly to see if they can send me another inner tube, all the told me was I can buy an inner tube at any bike shop, now given that I paid a good amount for a working bike I decided to give the seller a one star for the bad customer service and for the bad inner tube, I than amazon customer service for assisting me in this matter and helping get a replacement right away

Always check items upon arrival.
Kiddo was super happy because well... Blippi... But I bought it a month ago because shipping has been super late the last few orders and I didn't want it to be late for his birthday...so I stored it still in box and it was just opened to find out the bell was broke and he can't ring it. So it's pretty disappointing. Yeah it's just a bell but when you pay over 100 for a kid bike I expect it to be free of defects. And because I bought it a month to early I can't return it. Lesson learned always check items immediately upon receiving even if it's a bday gift a month away.

Complete Junk
Received with the fork to tight/bent to put the wheel in. The front brakes were twisted and fell apart while trying to straighten them. The welds on the frame are full of bubbles. This bike is trash. This needs review by the Consumer Products Safety Commission.

Save your money
Needed bikes for Christmas for my two kids. These were available so I thought I'd give it a shot. One of the bikes needed replaced because the front fork would not fit over the tire. The replacement came and had a similar problem only this time my husband was able to stretch it open. After every bike ride I have to readjust the training wheels due to poor design. I would not recommend these bikes.

Blippi Disappointment
Gave this to my son in September for his birthday. The seat is already peeling after minimal use and being garage kept. I reached out to Retrospec to see if they could replace the seat. They offered me a black seat and said they do not have orange seats. I asked them if I could exchange the bike as the whole point of a Blippi bike is being orange and blue. They said no I had to go through Amazon. Of course it's outside of the Amazon return window and Amazon's website says to contact Retrospec with issues. When I pointed that out I was told they cannot exchange for cosmetic damage due to use. First this is obviously peeling and not due to use. Then they said "If you were interested in an orange saddle, we would recommend checking out your local bike shop and seeing what they have available." I ordered a bike with an orange Blippi saddle and I'd expect for what I paid that this would be higher quality. Just a disappointed three year old and frustrated Mama.

Almost perfect
Love the colors, easy to assemble, the right size and height for my 2.5-year-old, just all-around a nice bike.BUT, I wish the wheels moved with the pedals (like an old big wheel, for instance). Instead, they work independently of each other, so it's hard for my little one to steer and pedal at the same time. I wish she could more understand that pushing on the pedals makes the wheels move. Perhaps we should have tried a tricycle first since she went straight from a balance bike to this one.

Poor quality control
Christmas gift for my grandson and it’s to late to return it as it’s Christmas Eve and even though it’s obviously a manufacturer defect I would still end up paying to get the replacement. Now grandson gets the crooked handle bar bike so as to not ruin his Christmas.
