I got this pump, mostly paid by insurance. I used it, I loved it. It is fully customizable for each side which is ideal. It is a really strong pump and helped keep my milk supply strong and steady but the trade off is it has to be plugged in.My pump broke, so I had to use a backup from a friend. A Spectra 1. It was not anywhere near as good and my milk supply dropped significantly.and I tried to follow up with Spectra for the 2 year warranty. They will not honor purchases from Amazon. I had registered my pump when I first got it and they said no.Luckily, once we knew nobody would help us we said heck with the warranty lets fix it ourselves and it was fairly easy.BUT lesson learned. If you're going to spend a lot of money on this pump (which you should), buy it direct from Spectra. They have a coupon floating around for 20% off too.

Works perfectly for me no hiccups so far I love that the nightlight feature also makes the plug in light up so if ur in a dark lit room u can still see where to place it it can be confusing on its feature but it's a very minor issue or otherwise learning curve but I like it has them for adjusting to fit your needs it dose memories your settings so watch out for that if u tend to be more sensitive from the start up I would definitely suggest this for any other family members in need for one

I have 3 kids all of which I have pumped for. I have used Medela, EvenFlo, MomCozy Wearable pump, the Spectra S2 (also a great pump), and variety of hand pumps. Nothing has been as impressive as this pump. The price tags is a bit of an ouch but I will say that I have had this pump for three years and I've pumped for 18 months on it and it is still going and the suction is still great.I am also an over producer. In the first 9 months I produce over 70 ounces in a day and this pump can handle it and does a great job of emptying breasts. It's also going for women with largers breasts because the pump has the power to help get all that milk out. With other pumps I would still feel like there was milk left after pumping. The dual settings are great for individual adjustments so you can adjust for comfort or to try to kick the slacker-boob into gear.It is very easy to find pump parts and replacement parts such as tubes, duckbills, large bottles or different flanges that work with the spectra. It is a closed system pump so the milk stays in the bottle area and never goes anywhere near the tubing making it last so much longerIt's not the quietest pump but I've honestly never had an issue with baby or hubs waking up in the middle of the night because I'm pumping. Is easy to see the settings in the dark so you're not guessing if you've got the right button.It is not the lightest pump in the world so if you're taking it to work regularly it will get heavy but there are bags that fit in and honestly, if rather carry this around and be comfortable and know I'm getting a good pumping session in than use something more portable.I highly recommend this pump. I tell all my soon-to-be mom friends about it! Way to go Spectra! Keep up the good work!

The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t matter WHO you buy this from, the manufacturer Spectra Baby USA has TERRIBLE customer support under their products. I bought this pump less than 3 month ago and the left pump has completely gone out. I contacted Spectra, they told me because I bought off Amazon, they could not help me. They never offered to help troubleshoot. Nothing. They talked like they were Robots…I’m a new mom solely breastfeeding. I now have to run to the store and put my child on formula because they would not accept responsibility for their products. It shouldn’t matter where you purchase a product from. The product itself should be under warranty no matter the seller. Go with another brand, Spectra doesn’t stand behind their warranty. They are short with you over the phone. Waste of $300! But more so, I’m SO disappointed with their customer service team. It’s soooooooooooo sad.

This is an incredible pump. It gives a great output for me and I love that you can change the suction on each side independently. It is a little bit bulkier than my other Spectra, but I LOVE this one!

Truly love this pump. Second time mama here and I hated pumping with my first baby. I had the medela and ended up exclusively breastfeeding bc it was such an awful pump. The spectra gold is so quiet and strong, I barely turn up the suction and it does the job! It is also so nice to be able to pump one side longer and at different auctions. Truly love this pump and has me excited to pump so daddy can also give bottles and bond with baby!

Love it BUT the machine sometimes leaks ! It didn’t start happening until about. Month or so after I got it, the power is great but I notice it leaks a nasty brown color and it sometimes Has a order I’m not sure why it’s happening I have to place a towel under it as I never know when it’s gonna start it’s almost as if the glue is melting … if anyone knows how to fix please let me know!
