Perfect
I wasted money putting my kids in swim school for over a year. A whole year went by and they still couldn’t swim on their own. My 7yr old son is terrified of water. I decided to teach him myself with this float device. It only took 30 days and he’s swimming on his own! This is the perfect tool because it gives kids the freedom with their swim motions. The float breaks down in stages starting with 3 then 2 then 1. A regular life jacket will keep them afloat too much and doesn’t allow them to sink. This device makes them work harder to swim while keeping them afloat. My son went from crying all the time to “dad I want to do laps”. Happydad

Great swimming tool!
My daughter uses this as the next step after a puddle jumper. I like that the "bubble" lets her use her arms, so it's easier to transition to swimming without assistance. The float contains 3 foam parts, each has 2 colors on it (I thought it may be 6, which would be annoying to put on and off). As the swimmer gets more confident, you remove the straps from one foam piece, until they swim alone. a couple tiny pieces of foam broke off near the straps when I unwound it to remove a section, but overall it's holding up well from saltwater, chlorine and sitting in the sun

First of all always be right by your child when they're learning how to swim or already know how to swim. My daughter is 50lbs and this held her up in the deep side of the pool, she even asked to remove one of the plates, she does know how to float only a little so it did it's job, but there are a few no no's. This is just a belt around the child's waist which is definitely not safe, because if it goes below the belt the child can easily flip and also it can easily slip out. I would prefer it better if it was like a backpack around both arms and the waist. We will still be using it while she's learning to swim but eyes on her at all times.
