This laser tool works perfectly! The little tripod is definitely very handy. I used this level for several DIY projects around my house...from mounting tv brackets to the wall, hanging wallpaper, and even installing bi-fold doors on closets. Best little gadget and works as advertised.

Like many of you I was looking for something that can give me a perfectly level(horizontal) and/or vertical line. Good news is that this product does deliver that function while bad news is that you would need to manually fine-tune and achieve it. I think the best way to do it is like shown in the picture: put it side way on the tripod (because the side of the device is NOT a flat surface) and then adjust it till at least the 90 degree and 180 degree bubble is both in the middle (the 45 degree bubble should also be in the middle of if these two are leveled). Then you should be able to put a cross line on the wall with both a straight horizontal and vertical line. This is the best I can come up with so far and happy to hear any better solution from others.

This laser level does the basics—helpful for hanging pictures or lining up small projects—but it’s not the most precise tool out there. The beam works fine in shorter ranges, though it struggles with brightness in larger spaces. The included bracket is handy, but the overall build feels a bit flimsy. It’s useful for casual household tasks, just not something I’d rely on for more demanding or professional work.
