This mirror really is stunning. I expected it to be shattered on arrival thanks to UPS, but the packaging is bombproof and uses foam and these heavy-duty particleboard corners that are literally Ikea-grade furniture but are just to soak up the shipping punishment.I wish they had a version that was 4x bigger (twice as wide and twice as tall) as I would buy that sucker in a heartbeat.Another wish list item would be dimmer compatibility. Imagine wiring it to a Lutron motion-sensing dimmer. You walk in, and this mirror fades on. It would be fantastic.My other favorite part, besides the look, is that the innards look totally modular. If the transformer goes out, presumably you could just find a compatible one and wire it up (carefully). Bulbs can also be easily removed. It's basically the opposite of an engineered-obsolescence Apple product, which is glued and soldered to oblivion so you can't even change a battery.The biggest downside is that there are a few scratches on the glass right on arrival, right smack in the middle of the mirror. I'm not sure what to do about it as I think it would be costly for everyone to replace or re-ship.Finally, I feel like the rear of the casing should have more holes for mounting and wiring options (like mounting on studs).

The mirror came broken. I did not open the box until our electrician was trying to install it and opened the box to find it broken. I am unable to return it Since it’s past the 30 days return policy. DO NOT BUY PRE-OPENED RETURNS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW IF THE PRODUCT IS BROKEN OR MISSING PARTS. Lesson learned.

Hours of research led me to this mirror. After seeing my reflection in a similar mirror at a fancy hotel I knew I needed to find one for my commercial studio. My search started by returning to said hotel to sleuth this mirror and why i felt so amazing looking into it. I peered around the backside and to my surprise, the lights were a very low and warm 3000K. I immediately jumped on amazon. Most mirrors I found were out of my price range, and did not deliver the light spectrum I was searching for. That's when I discovered Hamilton Hills! This mirror checked every box on my list. Price, size, light spectrum, ease of installation (I did it by myself!), secure and fast guaranteed shipping. It sat in my cart for almost six months before I finally pulled the trigger and my only regret is not buying it sooner! My clients absolutely love their reflection and I get asked daily, "Where I found such a great mirror." Best LED mirror out there. Got this for my wife and she loves it. This is the only LED wall mounted mirror that does not have to be hard-wired (well, actually they also sell another mirror like this one however there are only lights on the sides of the mirror. It can also be plugged into an outlet). I simply mounted this above her vanity and plugged it in the outlet. Other mirrors require an electrician to hard wire. The install is very easy. You just install the wall mount first then slide the mirror onto the mount. There will be a little gap between the mirror and the electrical cord at the bottom but if that bothers you, you can just create a hole and fish the cord behind the wall and have it come out near the outlet. For my wife's vanity the gap is not visible since its underneath the vanity table hidden from view. I mounted the mirror so that it's right above the vanity table. This will hide that gap. Anyways you can't tell theres a gap.Also, there is no switch to turn it off and on. You have to unplug it to turn it off; however I just bought a remote controlled outlet and plugged the mirror into there. Now we can turn it off and on with a click of the remote.I definitely recommend this mirror. Perfect for someone's vanity.

I am legit dumbfounded how a company could put out such a nice product with completed trash instructions and janky mounting hardware. Beautiful product with a major oversight.Despite that, the mirror looks great and has been build/wired well

My husband is an electrician. We just built a new house and my husband did a lot of the work himself. Putting up this mirror was by far the most time consuming. The back of the mirror scratch my brand new painted wall all up. The screws that came with this were the wrong screws- too long. So once he put in the screws then had to take them out the holes on the wall became bigger a nd bigger so he had to drill new holes. Watch the screws before installing and I recommend placing a cloth behind the brace as you put it up because it will scratch your wall. For as much money you would think they provide the correct screws!

Mirror is beautiful, and easy to hang. Light is very bright and you can easily use for make up or shaving etc. I needed to plug this mirror in, not hardwired. I didn't give 5 stars, as I could not find anyway to have the cord exit the frame to go to a plug. I used a tin snip to make an hole in the frame, it worked but there was no other way. The instructions were for a different model than what I received.

These mirrors are amazing. I bought 2 for my bathroom 4 years ago. They were perfect, easy to install, bright lights. Recently one of them began to flicker, sometimes it would work, others it wouldn't. I tested the led tubes and they worked fine, so I contacted Hamilton Hills to see if they had another controller box they could send. They wound up replacing the mirror completely as they didn't have the parts available for repair.I was stunned. If you're concerned about the quality of either the mirror or the company, don't be. Both are top notch. My parents bought two for their bathroom after having seen the mirrors in my bathroom and hearing of how well they treat their customers.
