This is the only product that has helped me. Winter is tough on dry chapped cracking lips. As a nervous lip chewer, and chronic nail biter (I know, ew) City Lips has changed my life. This may be a bit thick and sticky for some but its the reason my lips are in the best shape they have ever been in. It is soothing, cooling, hydrating, and stops me from chewing nails or lips. I can transition from indoor to outdoor activities like skiing and snowshoeing and never have a concern about my lips getting chapped. No mirrors needed as the clear can go anywhere and still look great. Even after it drys out it still has deeper hydration than anything else I have ever used. I reapply 2-3 times a day and it really fills my lips out which is an extra bonus. I am prone to smokers lines (non smoker mid 30s) and this has definitely helped with continuous use.Only cons, its sticky, hair gets caught up in it, with that said it gives me beautiful shiny full lips all day. The price is also a con but it does seem to last a long time at least 2 months. Put on at night wake up with hydration. Bottom line I highly recommend.

This has been my mainstay lip gloss for over 5 years. It keeps my lips looking healthy and good. I never get flaky dry lips anymore. I do feel my lips look a little plumper, which is perfect, I don't like an unnatural look. I don't notice a lot of tingliness, but used to when I first started using it. No fragrance which I also like.

I was excited to try this product based on the reviews I had read. With that said, not every product works for every person and this definitely did not work for me. I found the formula to be very thick; it was tacky and felt super sticky upon application and the dry down was terrible. It felt like I had a little suit of armor over my lips. It actually made my lips feel and look dry, and therefore it made them look smaller which is quite opposite to the plumping claims of this product. I drink a lot of water each day, which helps keeps my lips plump and full but i honestly felt like City Lips sucked the moisture right out of them. I stuck with putting it on in the morning and at night for two weeks to see if there was a change or if it got better... nope! Also, i found that lipstick did not look good over this and you definitely can't use it with everlasting lipsticks, like KVD. It ruins the wear time of lipsticks that dry down because it leaves a coating on the lips. Very disappointed and sent back for a refund. If you are over the age of 40 and want to help keep that fullness you had when you were younger, there are better lip serums out there than this. n i o d ftw

Old formula, navy box: No plumping, but the absolute best hydration for my very dry lips. Been using it for years. Nothing before or since has worked so well. New formula, white box: The plumping works! But feels like 1000 tiny paper cuts on my lips. Can't eat salty or spicy food or apply a product with sunscreen. I really hate that I have give this up

I’ve been using this for years ONLY because it gives a nice shine and it’s the only lip product that actually doesn’t dry out my lips . Keeps them pretty moisturized . HOWEVER the bold face lies that city lips advertises for plumping is ridiculous! There is no plumping action over time . It does nothing to plump your lips . False advertising ! Just advertise it as a nice gloss but stop w the lies .

Not so much a fan of the wee smell, but it does fade. The performance, though---delivers. The best part is the price; when compared to other products that advertise the same claims at two, three, and fours times the price point, City Lips delivers a superior performance--I've done the ground work here--at a fraction of the price. The clear looks fantastic on its own, layered under lip products, and handles itself as a topper. There is a wee bit of tingling, but not the fire you get with other products. Plumping is not appreciable, but is there. Mature lip ladies will see it more than most. What sets it at the top, besides the price, is it's non-sticky. There's no inner-lip build up over time. This doesn't hold with the colored versions, though---which are beautiful, but there's more tack and a bit of build up. Finally, I've tried other products from the line, skin creams etc., and they are nice; but their clear City Lips is their hero product.

This actually hydrates your lips to the point that they’re full of life and plump again, without any stinging peppermint feel causing irritation like most others. It’s not sticky like some glosses. And it lasts for many hours. It may be a bit pricey, but the tube usually lasts me 6months, so it’s absolutely worth it.

Expensive lip gloss that does absolutely nothing. No plumping, no tingling, just get something from CVS. Sticky consistency . I tried to give it one star but it wouldn’t let me

I don't really own a top lip and they are always cracked, dry and peeling at this time of year. I'm not willing to have things injected into my face for fashion. This product helps moisturise and plump. When i can be bothered to add liner and lipstick, they look lovely. I wouldn't be without it. Jobs a good un.

Works great as a lip gloss… been using for over a month now and it does absolutely nothing for lip plumping.
